We had a family of eight adults and four kids, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and also spend time together. The views were spectacular. The entire house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The owner was very personable and took time to show us around the house and the property when we arrived. We did not see him after that unless we needed something. The owner gave us a tour of the house when checking in and was very helpful in letting us check in early on short notice.That being said, please be aware that the owner lives above the garage with only a curtain separating his living area from your vacation area. He popped in unannounced on more than one occasion. This was especially upsetting to a couple of our female friends that stayed behind alone during the day. Additionally, the owner was walking through the house an hour before checkout time to start doing laundry, clean up, etc. In conclusion, a beautiful house but having the owner living there should be disclosed in the listing. The host being on site was helpful. The house is very large and accommodated our group of 9 with 4 adults and 5 teens very easily. Access to the house via the private road system was ok with a 4WD vehicle. Another person in our party had a FWD minivan, and had a bit of trouble making it up the hill.
