Welcome to The Pinions at Eagle’s Nest in beautiful Silverthorne, CO. Our 3,200 square foot log home is tucked below the stunning Gore Range and nestled along the Raven Golf Course. You can sit inside, on the deck, or in the hot tub and take in the spectacular views of the Blue River Valley, as well as the surrounding mountain ranges, including the Keystone Ski area and Ten-Mile Range.

The home is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The main floor great room has vaulted ceilings, log cabin details, a fireplace, and cozy but plentiful seating. The adjacent kitchen has Sedna slab granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and is equipped with everything you need - a real gourmet kitchen. The dining space is tucked into an octagonal nook with spectacular views from every chair. We also have a second family/recreation room downstairs with adjacent dining space, air hockey/billiards, and wet-bar. This provides additional space for the kids or to enable some privacy for larger groups. We have four bedrooms and four bathrooms, plus a loft, with plenty of space for two or more families. Everything is upgraded, designer-decorated, and thoughtfully appointed. The abundant outdoor space, including the Arctic Spa hot tub provides even more places to relax and enjoy the views.

There is so much to see and do in Summit County. We are famous for world-class skiing. The home is 10-15 minutes from Copper Mountain and Keystone, and a few minutes further drive from Breckenridge, Loveland, A-Basin, and Vail Ski areas. The summers are just as fun as the winters – hiking, biking, rafting, SUPing, fishing in the lake across the road, shopping, and music festivals are common activities. The nearby Silverthorne Pavillion right on the Blue River is a perfect spot for your events. The town of Silverthorne continues to upgrade the amenities.

The home is located in Eagle’s Nest, tucked below the fabulous Gore Range, with spectacular views of the Keystone mountain ski area, Ptarmigan Wilderness area, Ten Mile Range, Gore, and the Continental Divide. The property is tucked within the award-winning Raven Golf Course community. The home is located within 15 minutes of Keystone and Copper, and a few minutes more to Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek. The property adjoins and overlooks acres of open space, providing for a convenient and quiet location.

The home is a beautifully appointed, well-maintained log home with over 3200 square feet of living space. After you step in from the cozy front deck, the entrance warms you immediately, down to your toes, with in-floor and baseboard radiant heat. Throughout the home, there are large windows and vaulted ceilings, with log cabin details, maximizing views in every room.
The heart of the Main Floor is the great room, which is flanked by the kitchen and dining area and overlooked by the loft, creating a warm and open feel. The dining area holds a round table capable of seating 8, which is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views. The kitchen, which has tongue & groove knotty pine ceilings, Sedna slab granite, a breakfast bar that seats 2, and stainless appliances, opens to the dining area & great room. The kitchen is outfitted with all the amenities of home, stocked to accommodate larger groups. There is an extra foldaway table and 6 chairs available to accommodate additional diners, so larger groups can dine together if you choose. We respectfully request that you pre-approve with us any parties/events with more guests than you are listing on your reservation request.

Off the dining room, there is a large Trex deck overlooking the Blue River Valley. You will want to enjoy a beverage at the custom, folding, bar-height table with 4 bar stools. Here you will be protected and slightly shaded by the surrounding aspens and pines.
On the main level, mahogany hardwood flooring grounds the cozy seating area. The family room has a new, gas fireplace that can heat the room, surrounded by slate rock and log finishes. There is a large TV with cable over the fireplace, but it is not the focal point. The seating can accommodate larger groups, yet still feels cozy. The vaulted ceilings reveal a 300 plus Sq Ft loft that combines an office with bonus space and a Queen Sofabed. To access the space, stroll up custom painted log stairs. The office and home is Wi-Fi enabled with boosters, so you can work while you enjoy the amazing views. Guests sleeping in the loft may want to bring earplugs and/or a sleeping mask, as it is open to the Great Room.

Downstairs, there is an additional separate family-media room with Comcast w/Netflix/Prime Video, DVD, Wii Gaming System, Air Hockey/Billiards Table and an adjoining dining area and wet bar with wine refrigerator. The space has its own new, stone-surrounded gas fireplace that can heat the area. The space is perfect for families who want some grown-up time and space, separate from the kids. There is a spectacular 1000 SQ FT patio with log railings accessible off the downstairs family room. The patio has abundant outdoor seating, including 2 chaises for lounging, and the ultimate lounging spot in a hot tub with abundant jets and seating for 6. The hot tub is maintained and cleaned after each guest visit.

The house has 2 floors, the first of which is handicap accessible. Each floor has 2 Bedrooms and 2 full Bathrooms. The main floor Master Bedroom has a King sized bed and a remodeled Master en-suite Bathroom with a walk-in shower, custom finishes, and a second washer/dryer with detergent provided. You will awake to lovely views from this room.

The second bedroom, also on the main floor, has a Queen bed and a remodeled en-suite bathroom, which is handicap accessible and is also accessible from the main floor hallway. You can see Peak One (10-Mile Range) from this room.

Downstairs, the 2 bedrooms share one remodeled adjoining Jack and Jill full bathroom with alder cabinets, double sinks, and Quartz counters. There is also a separate full bathroom just down the hall from the 2 bedrooms. The renovated hall bathroom has custom barn doors, a walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer with detergent provided as well. One bedroom includes a King-sized bed with nice views of Aspens - the room includes a seating nook as well. The other large bedroom has 3 bunk beds, perfect for larger groups. Two bunks are twin-over-double, and one is a twin-over-twin. The bunk room can sleep up to 6.

There is a large attached 2 car garage with work space and handicap access, with plenty of room to store skis, boots, and other equipment. There is outdoor parking space for at least 2-4 more cars.

The home is 5 minutes away from the Silverthorne Recreation Center with Sauna, Hot Tubs, Swimming pools, Water slide, Indoor track, Exercise Room and Gym. It is also minutes away from the Silverthorne Pavillion, a perfect event space.

There are many other summer and winter activities in the Summit County area. Access to hiking and biking trails is steps away- the Eagle's Nest Trail runs through the neighborhood, in fact. White water rafting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, horseback riding, and golfing are within easy reach.

Silverthorne Factory Outlets are 5 minutes from the home. Green Mountain Reservoir (boating) is within a half hour to the north. Hot Sulfur Springs is 45 minutes north of Silverthorne. Glenwood Canyon and Springs is 1 hour 20 minutes west.

Although you can easily cook a gourmet meal in the well-stocked kitchen, you may want to try one of our favorite restaurants in town. Sauce on the Blue is our new favorite (the brussels sprouts are amazing and the scallops are divine!).

We seek to maximize our guests' experience with details like cozy sheets, humidifiers in the bedrooms, and Himalayan salt lamps.

There is no smoking allowed, and no fires allowed on the property.

Wonderful log house in the mountains

We were 2 families with teenage children for a summer vacation in the mountains. Very spacious for all 7 of us, high standard of accomodation made the stay comfortable for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the cool morning & evening breeze, grilling on the terrace, and the hot tub after a day of hiking and mountain biking. The house is easy to access to Silverthorne and I-70 with shops nearby. There's good wifi throughout, lots of board games and a pool table to keep the teens occupied on a rainy day. Highly recommended!

Great Stay in Silverthorne

The property sits in the midst of a golf course with many beautiful vistas and plenty of places to walk or hike. People were very friendly and accommodating. The home is very spacious with two main floor bedrooms, several bedrooms on the lower floor and a loft. The kitchen is large with lots of appliances. The views are nice and the night skies are ultra clear. It is located in Silverthorne, Co - which is a very nice town in its own right with lots of local amenities. It’s also a close drive to both Breckenridge and Vail as well as Frisco. So, there’s a lot to do nearby. We spoke with the owners via email and text and they were super helpful and easy to deal with. Check in and out were easy, non-events. Info on both the home and surrounding area was provided so that we could just relax and enjoy. There are ample TVs so we had a movie night and a very nice hot tub so we had a hot tub night.All-in-all, we had a great stay and would stay there again.

STESSFULL!!! GO ELSEWHERE! 1st good-The home is beautiful! They had everything we needed, tape, appliances, iron, ect. Good communication b4 arrival. THE BAD-The boiler for the hot water was broken so no hot water, no one showered the day we came in, so early the next am we contacted the owner who sent many texts of try this, try that, what does this say ect. We left for wwrafting, when we were off the river and had reception she had not addressed the problem. They would send someone the next day, we had no where to shower some of our group paid to shower at a public facility. The owner said she would reimburse us and pay towards our dinner. Some of our group later moved to a hotel. The next day someone came out while we were gone and said there was no issue, which likely was resolved by the troubleshooting. The next day-wedding day all the bridesmaids, bride and house guests want to shower, no warm water, maintenance come out, there was an issue with the boiler. They identified an issue and fixed it, which too hours. This should have taken place initially. No reimbursement for any inconvenience, people leaving, dinner or paying to shower. Also, many things were broken, pool table, cover to hot tub, chair, wii game. One shower didnt work. Wouldn't recommend! Get Outlook for Android

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The communication with the owner was excellent . The only problem was the smoke alarm/ carbon monoxide sensors that we had to deal with which cut into our trip. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Lots of room, great location

House was the perfect size for our group of 8 and could easily accommodate 10-12. Host was very responsive to all of my questions. Clean and roomy, very comfortable beds. Very close to town but still felt secluded and quiet. Enjoyed mornings and evenings relaxing and watching deer, chipmunks, and a couple of foxes wander around the neighborhood. I can see how driveway might be a challenge in winter, but was no problem for our late summer stay. Just a few things to note - some of the window screens and patio door need repair, otherwise the house is in great shape. Mind yourself on the wooden stairs if you're wearing socks, can be slippery! Great room gets rather warm in the summer but host provides portable AC units to help cool. Enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Nice location and property - not ideal for warm weather, house for sale

On the upside, the house was clean, had plenty of room, and is in a great and peaceful location. The views may be slightly oversold, but it is still a great location (likely more impressive in the winter). The owner was very responsive and respectful when we had some issues with the property. On the downside, it was 88 degrees inside when we arrived before noon. The owner was gracious enough to let us arrive early, but there is very poor ventilation in the main area as most of the windows don't open. The advertised AC unit was missing a vent and didn't work for us. The owner worked with us and went out of her way to get a replacement unit, but it barely kept the main floor below 82 the next few days (thermostat read 81.5 with the AC running). We booked this location because of the AC and time of year (and we're softies used to the luxury of cold AC), and unfortunately, it wasn't working and didn't really have a great impact when it finally did work. Fortunately, it cools down in the evening, but there were no "siestas" to be had until the cool air started to come it after 7PM. There were some small things that were falling apart (pool table was super sketchy, and back screen door was not in great shape when we arrived), but overall the house is equipped with the things one needs for a successful vacation. Note that the house is for sale, so any future bookings (if still listed) could be subject to issues related to the intent to sell the property.

A group of friends stayed at this house for a golf trip. The property was awesome, had great amenities, and the location was perfect. Would stay again and recommend to others

Convenient location!

The home had ample space for our growing family of 7. Even two sets of washers and dryers. A few things needed to be fixed or were broken and Sarah was very good about responding quickly to our needs! The hot tub in the evenings was a bonus after hiking all day! Overall fun time in the mountains making great memories!

Great Mountain home for summer fun

Great Time at the Pinions for the Holidays!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying for 10 days at the Pinions for the Holidays. Beautiful setting, lots of space, plenty of comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, 4 bathrooms! Sarah and Randy were very helpful and available for any questions we had. Everything was perfect!

Great place to stay!

10 of us as family members stayed in this lovely home over a long weekend. We especially liked the the patio area with the hot tub and the smaller deck on the other side of the home. Both were continually occupied due to the spectacular views! The home is very comfy and has everything that you might need. My entire family said this location and home has been the most relaxing of any trips that we have taken. Thanks Sarah for being such a lovely host! Gale : )
