New Bedroom Configuration: Main Floor: Golden Columbine – Two queen beds (sleeps 4) Second Floor: Bergamot Suite – Master bedroom with ensuite – Queen (sleeps 2) Brand new double sleeper sofa (sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids) Arnica – single/single bunk bed (sleeps 2) Purple Lupine – Queen (sleeps 2) with shared ensuite Wild Rose – Queen with ensuite (sleeps 2) Fire Lily – Brand new double sleeper sofa with ensuite (sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids) Twin futon (sleeps 1) with fireplace and access to the hot tub Queen Aster Suite – Queen with ensuite (sleeps 2) \*\*Even though this house sleeps 18, maximum occupancy is 14 and there is a maximum number of 6 children allowed with adults during a stay. Unlike many of the mountain homes which have a 3rd floor kitchen, Green Vacation Mountain Chalet makes it easy to come in and unload groceries. The ground floor has the living/study room with a sectional sofa, two more couches, book library, board games, stereo, and T.V. Enjoy the new electric fireplace. There are 3 dining areas sitting sixteen in total, which is adjacent to the kitchen. There is a brand new Modem for guests for faster free high-speed wi-fi and free cable. The Golden Columbine is the main floor suite with two brand new queen beds. A full washroom on this floor makes this bedroom the ideal choice for any guests who prefer to not climb stairs to the second-floor bedroom level. The laundry room has a new washer/dryer. There is indoor ski storage for you as well as two mudrooms for all your gear. The second-floor features six bedrooms – three with private ensuites and another shared ensuite to service The single car garage has a relaxing sauna and dartboard for a little fun. It can also be used for bike and ski storage but cannot be used for cars. There are three outdoor parking spots available during your stay. There is also a gym in the garage for your own use with a treadmill, stationary bike and some free weights. The hot tub and BBQ are located on the back deck on this floor, which is nestled in the woods with a lovely view of the Monashee Mountains. Bonus: Hot tub open year-round at no additional cost. Green Vacation Mountain Chalet is pet-friendly but please do not leave your dog alone while you are staying here. Please make sure either the dog is crated or a guest has stayed behind. We welcome your dog!!! (Sorry no cats permitted) $30.00 per night plus tax. Maximum of ONE dog only. This is a strictly non-smoking house including outside decks and garage. This place has everything you need for a perfect ski getaway. The owner, who lives on the lower floor, is super attentive and responsive - any question or need is taken care of immediately. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware, making it a breeze to whip up delicious meals. The ski-out is a total bonus! You can hit the slopes right from the house. As for ski in - take a quick shuttle from the village, or just walk mostly downhill from silver queen lift. The house and the resort itself is very cozy - it's like stepping into a fairytale. A good-sized kitchen, enough room for everyone to sit in the living/dining room and kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Very easy ski out from the neighbour's driveway -- 'ski in' route is very flat so a bit of a slog to get back, but the Knoll shuttle bus is very convenient. It's a short drive down to the village to drop off for ski school. ##### Michael S. Nice that we each had our own bed and mostly our own room. And there was 8 of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of room for all of us to sit around. The house was great - well stocked kitchen, lots of room and great views. The only drawback I’d say is that it was advertised as ski-in/ski-out and it is definitely NOT ski-in. Skiing out is no problem but to get back you either have to take the shuttle or hike 10 minutes up the hill from the top of the Silver Queen chair. So if being able to ski home at the end of the day is a must, this place isn’t for you. ##### James C. This home was perfect for our large family group to enjoy our much anticipated overseas ski holiday. The large master bedroom was spacious with a massive ensuite bathroom. The second, third and fourth bedrooms were ideal for the other adult couples in our group. The bunk room was well suited to the smaller members of the family and the last room upstairs was suitable for a teenager. The kitchen was very well equipped and great for us as we enjoy cooking and eating at home as a family most evenings. The ski out location of the home was well appreciated and the resort shuttle to bring us home arrived on a regular basis and was easy to use. Silverstar mountain was a fantastic resort for a great family vacation. ##### Ganell W. Perfect for families/groups Excellent communication from rental company, seamless check in/out. Fantastic home! Extremely clean. Very nicely furnished, lots of seating for large groups . Really nicely appointed bedrooms with Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked for dining in , has all the utensils and cookware you would ever need for a stay! Good Hot tub fits 4\. Lots of storage for ski equipment. Backyard On ski out, would be awesome to rent during ski season. Good parking for 4-5 vehicles. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! ##### anne B. Full fridge and stand up freezer. Excellent entry way with storage for skis. 4 bathrooms. Sauna in the garage. BBQ on the balcony. On the down side the hot tub is on the small side and it is not possible to ski in to the property but there is a free shuttle available from the village. Overall we had a good time here with no problems. Great communication from the property managers. ##### Tim H. We were 4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-8\. Easy access to the ski lifts from this property. Lots to do at Silver Star, even for non-skiers. The chalet was perfect for a family reunion of 10 adults and four children. Each couple had a spacious bedroom with their own bathroom. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for making meals, and everything you need. Two fridges. There are spacious places for lounging and hanging out, including the deck with BBQ and hot tub. The mountain setting was beautiful and peaceful. We weren't aware of anyone around us, but felt we were in the woods by ourselves. Fun things to do in the area: cruise Silver Star town and ride the gondola, Davison Orchards is a great family place, Kalamalka Beach. Highly recommended! ##### Rick S. Great place to stay in the summer, lots of room (we had 13 adults), well equipped kitchen with abundant counter space. The property is shared with a permanent rental that is in the basement. That tenant was excessively loud the one night after the quiet hours and kept our lower level guests awake (tried knocking on their door, but there was no answer). It was ideal for all the space for family get together's. Everything was as it was described (other than one room, I didn't understand the configuration).
