The back deck has a covered area for the private six-person hot tub and the BBQ, and uncovered area used in the summer to enjoy the alpine garden, a great view of the Monashee Mountains and the warmth of the afternoon sunshine. Walking distance away from the village center but close enough to the action that you never need to get in your car. During the winter months, you can take advantage of the free shuttle that runs continuously throughout the village. Quiet, convenient, summer, and winter.
Up one level from entry (boots, skis, coats, etc.) is the second level with (a high vaulted ceiling)in the living room, kitchen, and dining area (large table that seats 8). The kitchen island will seat four on stools. There is a patio table and chairs on deck in the summer. An alpine garden is being created off the deck. An assortment of board games, puzzles, and books are provided. Iron and ironing board on-premises.
The private hot tub is open during the winter season only.
There are two parking spots available. One in the garage and one in the driveway.
Golden Sun is a fully equipped townhouse with its own laundry facilities. Housekeeping is not included during your stay but if you require additional housekeeping during your stay it can be arranged at an additional cost.
Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival).

“Great communication and super quick action when we had issues with the internet. Great layout with the split level, living room, and bedrooms. Excellent garage and large downstairs entrance for boots/ski gear - everything was dry and warm each morning. The hot tub cleaned very regularly. Good location. Short walk to ski-out, and a short walk back home from Silver Queen. Shuttle right out front on the driveway (but we never needed it). We grabbed a toboggan in Vernon to transport our little one to and from silver queen - made a huge difference at the end of the day. “Golden Sun is a great house that will provide you with a warm and cozy stay whilst you are at Silver Star. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The living room is inviting with a fireplace and comfortable couches. There are games to play and videos to watch as well as cable TV. There are plenty of warm quilts and lots of towels available for use, which is great as there is also a well kept and very clean hot tub (which we loved). There is a huge washing machine and dryer. There is a garage which is great if you have a car. You can ski-out, and at the end of the day, there is only a short walk back to the house from a nearby chair lift.
