This place was pretty run down. I could tell the staff was working hard and were very kind but they clearly need more help. The place is being remodeled so maybe it’s just showing its age but over all I was pretty skeeved out the whole time.

Staff was taking personal calls instead of waiting on customers. Blow dryers and phones in rooms didn’t work. Children were allowed to run up and down hallways constantly in the evening. It’s one thing if they are inside their rooms raising hell but in the hallways they should not be allowed to run wild.

this is by far the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed in.the peephole was missing on the door inside the room.mold in the bathroom shower.dirty grout and missing grout in bathroom.so much dust and dirt in corners of the rug and surrounding furniture.bugs and dirt on inside of window sil.i have supporting pictures of all. GROSS GROSS GROSS

What I didn’t like, property looked messy. Bed was fine, desk in room was ready to break, the legs were ready to break. No hair dryer, only two small towels, washcloths and hand towels were fine. The chair in the room has seen better days. Very dirty. TV remote would not work.

The reception was horrible at check-in and check-out, staff not friendly, people who barely answered questions. We had to get breakfast and eat it in the room, go up with the food holding a cardboard tray through the elevator full of people in the same situation because the breakfast area was closed due to renovations and no one warned us before we arrived, maybe for fear of canceling the trip, anyway. Horrible experience.

My room was not ready at check it and was told to come back in 30 mins and got checked in and unloaded luggage and got to room and it still wasnt ready. Had to load car back up and come back hour and half later. Hotel was under construction and if i new when booked i would have chosen a different hotel. Seating area was being used for construction storage so there was no where for my family to comfortably eat breakfast.

It is very dated but clean. Breakfast included which is a plus. Would stay again in the future.

Comfortable stay, needs some renovation
The AC/Heat was confusing to operate, but once I figured it out it was no longer an issue. The door to the bathroom also did not lock. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Everything else about the hotel was great.

Very noisy. Didn’t look like many people were staying there. Yet there were elephants above me and loud talkers next to me, as well as people having loud conversations in the hallway at 11pm. Maybe spread guests out a little?

The hotel is under renovation which was not relayed to us. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Still decorated for fall, not a big deal. Pool area was very dirty as far as tables, you also need new noodles for pool

A Disappointing Stay
The staff were helpful and considerate. Unfortunately the building is undergoing renovations inside and outside. There were sections sealed off for construction. With no cleaning service provided we took care of our own needs - putting our towels and garbage in the hall and picking up fresh towels from the front desk.

Noisy person right above walking back and forth..so loud. Wasn't told there was juice available at breakfast due to construction and it wasn't by the rest of breakfast. Didn't understand the dirty, old mop laying in the landscaping by the walkway. Heat/cooling in room was not able to be controlled correctly. Breakfast was good.

The staff was very friendly, this is especially true of the nighttime clerk. She was a real pleasure to talk to. It is enough to make me consider this hotel first when booking in North Conway.

Smoking too close to main entrance
I arrived at hotel only to find people smoking cigarettes to close to the main entrance. We had to unload our luggage at the main entrance with cigarette smoke all around us. We did not encounter this issue at any of our hotels stays.

Got there 3:30 to check in. They said room needed work and they are full so sent us to another hotel. Had reservations for 3 days. Whole point was not to move around and had to anyway. Wasn’t happy. Otherwise breakfast was good. Room ok but nothing special. No maid service unless u ask.
