"The staff was exceptional! They offered dining at late hours of the evening, which was helpful when we got in late and there weren’t many options in the area. The bus comes right to the hotel and took about 40 minutes with stops to get to Interlaken. We couldn’t get any bikes from the property and there weren’t any bike rental shops in the area so we did have to travel by bus to go on adventures around the area. "

"Beautiful hotel, with very spacious rooms which are like mini apartments! Balconies have a stunning view of the mountains and lake. Great parking directly outside the hotel. Rooms have two levels, with kitchen and living space upstairs, and bathroom/bedroom downstairs. Breakfast was wonderful, great service from staff and picturesque view. Will definitely chose this hotel again. "

"Loved our stay here. Hotel had amazing views, an excellent breakfast and a very nice bar. Things in town closed early during shoulder season so we did like that the hotel had a place to hang out at night. There were large tour groups staying that could have impacted breakfast but the staff made it work and found extra seating when necessary. Spa and sauna needed a bit more instructions but was a nice option. "

"Our stay at the Bären was fantastic. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, accommodating. The Hotel and room is very clean. We were able to do early check in and our room had a little fridge and microwave, which was fantastic because we travelled with a toddler. They also put in a little bridge between the two single beds so we could all sleep in the big bed, no baby bed needed. The location is so close to all public transit and endless restaurants and shopping opportunities. It's very close to the parliament building. There is a public market on Saturday and Sunday everything is closed (shops, grocery stores) but restaurants/coffees are open. Overall a great location, quiet (if you get the courtyard rooms) and a very pleasant stay."
