Property restoration from Hurricane Helene has been mostly completed but there may be some ongoing construction and other inconveniences depending on the period of your stay. Access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. Fisherman's Cove is a very rare Siesta Key condo where every unit has direct, unobstructed, full Gulf views. The building is one of the closest condos to the Gulf on all of Siesta Key. You could throw a tennis ball into the gulf from this Siesta Key beachfront condo! Located at Turtle Beach on the island of Siesta Key off Sarasota, Florida, this vacation home has the best of both worlds - the beach in front and boat docks with access to the Intracoastal Waterway in back. Fisherman's Cove is practically surrounded by water! While not as powdery white as Crescent (Siesta) Beach, it is less crowded and great for collecting shells. NOTE: Because of minimal beach directly in front, access to the beach is at the north end of the property at Turtle Beach. This spectacular unit is on the second floor, accessible using the elevator or outside stairwell. Professionally appointed, this unit has been thoroughly updated with modern tile flooring throughout, new kitchen and completely renovated bathrooms, making it one of the nicest units at Fisherman's Cove. The bathrooms have glass tile walls and floor tiles that extend into the bedrooms. The kitchen has granite countertops with glass tile and tumbled marble backsplash, and modern appliances including refrigerator with through the door ice/water, glass top range and oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped including a range of small appliances. The dining area has seating for six and is right off the kitchen. The living room is well appointed with couch and loveseat, large flat panel HDTV and an amazing view out to the lanai and the Gulf. The air-conditioned lanai has floor to ceiling glass sliders overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the beach below. No expense was spared to make this unit perfect for your vacation. Sleep at night with the ocean surf right outside your window! The master bedroom has a bay window overlooking the Gulf and beach below. It has a king-size bed, large HDTV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a large tiled shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed plus a twin-size bed, flat panel HDTV and a large window overlooking the bay and boat docks. This unit has its own dedicated high-speed broadband WIFI. This unit also comes equipped with a full size washer/dryer. Boat docks are available for guest use at no extra charge!! Bring your boat or rent one after you get here. Keep it right at the condo all week long. (Note; trailers cannot be stored on site) Fisherman's Cove is located less than 25 minutes from Sarasota airport, 90 minutes from Tampa, and two and a half hours from Orlando. Tons of great restaurants and golf courses are nearby. Fisherman's Cove is on the southern end of Siesta Key at Turtle Beach and is very quiet and un-crowded. The view is to the west for spectacular sunsets! It's not unusual to be able to watch dolphins swim by in the Gulf from the lanai / patio. Literally less than 100 steps and you are in the ocean. Unit was exactly as pictures and the description was very accurate. Unit has beach chairs, umbrella, small and large cooler. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The water was clear and perfect for 4-5 days during our stay. Had manatees and dolphins swim right by us in the ocean. One reason we chose this location was that it was listed as less crowded and quieter. It was just that…less crowded and more secluded!! The only complaint we had was the bed and the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. After being at the beach all day and having dinner some nights we wanted to just relax and watch television, but could never truly relax due to being so uncomfortable. The bed was very firm and we felt as though we had slept on the floor the next morning. Overall this place is really nice, but needs at the least an upgraded mattress. ##### Shannon L. Ceiling fans and air vent registers need a good cleaning and scrubbing NOT just a “Swiffer” duster. Not too sure when this unit was last cleaned. Master bed bottom sheet had to be shaken out and was rewatched due to sand at foot of sheets Kitchen sink spray/faucet is broken. Would not stay in its’ spot (sprayer is loose and hangs from spout) I usually do not “pick” at a property. This was the 3rd time I have “guested” at this location and the SAME condo. Don’t know what’s happened here Living room and master bedroom also had issue w tv service. Had the “management” person check. Managed to get one working properly. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the decor and being so close to the beach. The location was really great too. Far enough away from the crowds of Siesta Key beach but close enough to get to everything in about 10 minutes. Loved being sandwiched between the intercoastal water and the beach. The only issue was that the dishwasher didn't work, as I was told by the cleaning company, and no one ever came out to repair it. Otherwise everything was excellent. ##### Bob M. Everything was in good working order, and having a keyless entry made things simpler. There is plenty of space to spread out on the beach, and not a whole lot of people around for privacy. A quick 5-10 minute drive north will take you into the busier section of Siesta Key. I have stayed in Bay Tree Club down the road, but with this location so close to the beach, I will certainly be looking forward to coming down here again with family and friends. ##### Dan K. The second floor condo was clean and nicely equipped with most everything you would need to make you feel at home. Beautiful view of the gulf from the enclosed lanai. Turtle beach is at the southern end of Siesta Key and very private but, still only minutes away from Siesta Key village and about 30 minutes to Sarasota, Venice beach and surrounding areas. Great shelling beach. Unfortunately, midway through our stay the Red Tide rolled in leaving hundreds of dead fish washed up on shore and a horrible stench. We chose to shop but, the unit is equipped with several board games if you just want to stay in. I would definitely recommend this condo, it is lovely and you can enjoy the comforts of home away from home..thanks for sharing your condo Lisa! ##### Elizabeth b. We had a group of 14 adults in 3 different units. They were all nice, each unique. The ground unit was easy access to beach on the back side and parking and pool in the front. But loved the 2nd floor unit the best, the views of sunset each evening were incredible! Just sitting on the loveseat or in the Lanai was like a front row seat at a concert! Loved the peace and quiet, away from the commercial "touristy" north side, but only 3-4 miles away from all the shops, restaurants and bars. There were two walkable restaurants (Turtles) that were very nice. Plenty of chairs in the closet, beach toys, towels...kitchen had all the pots/pans, bake ware, appliances we could possibly need and more! The condo was perfect for our family of 4, with ample room for everyone. Check in was effortless, however keep in mind that the check in time is strictly adhered too. We did arrive earlier than check in time, however we were able to change into swimwear at the pool house restrooms and take advantage of the pool and ocean until we could get into the condo. The beds took some time for us to get used to, but they weren't bad, just firmness preference for us. The location was absolutely perfect, with an amazing view of the Gulf. We loved that it was off the beat and path from the crowds of Siesta Key, and that the beach was within steps from the condo and not crowded. We got to see dolphins, parakeets, turtles (even nesting turtles spots), and Manatee in the channel behind the condo. Overall, I can say that this has been our favorite place we have stayed so far. I highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again, should we come back. ##### Danielle M.
