Fishermans Cove B101 ground floor, middle of the complex, gulf front and right next to the pool! Following the hurricane in September 2024 that impacted all of Siesta Key, all of the 28 ground floor condos of Fisherman's Cove, including ours, suffered damage. Over the past year, every ground floor condo interior was completely rebuilt from bare stud walls to new construction condition. We’re excited to share that the transformation is nearing completion. The all-brand-new interior, decor and furnishings of our condo will resemble that of our currently advertised pictures of our condo pre-hurricane. This will maintain the charm and comfort past guests have come to love with our condo. The exception is that all interior finishes will be brand new including a brand-new custom white shaker-style kitchen and baths. We plan to update these pre hurricane pictures with our completed pictures in early January. We are now accepting bookings for stays beginning February 1, 2026. Our condo's features include wall to wall wood plank porcelain floors, a comfortable slip covered sectional, a front load large capacity washer and dryer, new kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, counters, shower walls, A new premium 14" king sized gel mattress in master bedroom and 2 new 14" queen sized gel mattresses in the guest bedroom. Large ultra-high definition 4K wall mounted flat screen televisions; a 70 inch Tv in the living room, a 55 inch Tv in the master bedroom, and a 55 inch Tv in the guest bedroom. We only offer one week rentals which require a Saturday arrival date as well as a Saturday departure date. Our vacation condo is the ideal Fisherman's Cove location... on the ground floor in the center of the resort right next door to the heated pool and clubhouse! Our corner of building location provides 4 extra windows making our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo noticeably brighter than the typical interior floor plan. Complimentary high speed WIFI as well as a reserved parking space just steps directly in front of our front door. Fisherman's cove is a truly unique vacation experience on Siesta Key, offering both direct beach front views and access as well as providing courtesy docks on a protected basin with direct access to the Inter-coastal waterway. Bring you boat, canoe, kayak or paddle along for added fun. Kayak rentals are also available and just a few minute walk from our condo. One big silver lining to the 2024 hurricanes is that the nearby Midnight Pass inlet was reopened to the Gulf for the first time in 40 years! Prior to Midnight Pass reopening our bayside lagoon was 8 miles from the nearest gulf inlet. Boating and fishing enthusiasts will be delighted that Fishermans Cove boating and fishing docks are now only a few thousand feet away from the newly opened pass and gulf waters! Beach Erosion Notice... Guests staying at Fisherman's Cove for the first time should be aware that our beach is prone to natural erosion. As a result of storms, it's possible that our beach may erode to the Fisherman's Cove rock revetment seawall. In that event, guests should be willing to use the 25-foot-wide swath of protected beach sand area located between our condo's back porch and the Fisherman's Cove rock sea wall. Location is awesome at the quieter end of the Key but still close to many conveniences. Our family enjoyed dinners at nearby Turtle’s and Ophelia’s, as well as meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The location within the complex is also ideal with immediate access to the pool and beach. Both were great for the kids, ages 8, 13 and 15\. Mike and Daphne were great with communication, checking in and providing great recommendations for the area. We took advantage of a suggested day trip to nearby Myaka State Park to check out the alligators and enjoy a peaceful, shaded walk in the woods after many sunny days on the beach. Everything was as advertised. We loved the location and the ease of being able to sit on the beach just a few steps from the back door. The location is great. It's quiet and has a few restaurants within walking distance. Siesta Key Beach and the Village are just a short trolley ride away, which was great and we utilized the service a few times. It’s convenient and accessible for kids. The beach is so clean and the sunsets can’t be matched. We greatly enjoyed being able to grill most nights by the bay, while watching the boats, too. I loved having the in unit washer and dryer. The master bedroom mattress was SO comfortable. The day/night shades in the bedrooms were super helpful for letting in light while keeping privacy and also for the days we wanted to sleep in. The kitchen was well stocked. This condo is absolutely beautiful. The cleaning crew did an amazing job. Everything looked wonderful. The condo was furnished nicely, kitchen well stocked. The location is perfect. The only complaint I have is that there was a beach renourishment project we knew nothing about until 2 weeks before we arrived. We were unable to use the beach behind the condo from 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday, so we had to go to other beaches for the week during the day. This was a major let down, as we planned to spend the whole week on that beach right behind the condo. This is not the condo owners’ fault, as it was a FEMA funded project done by the county that had been put off for months. I do wish it has been communicated to us that this specific project was on the horizon at the time we booked, though. It likely would have impacted our decision to book. We had views and sounds of dump trucks and equipment all day long. We were extremely disappointed to come from Illinois and not be able to enjoy the beach there. I would love to book this condo again so that we can actually fully experience and enjoy it once the project is complete. It will be spectacular. This place is amazing ##### JoDee S. The condo is very clean, sheets crisp and clean, beds very comfortable! Anything you would need was supplied. A nice quiet area, but not too quiet if you wanted to head down the road for food and entertainment! Loved walking the beach in the morning and was even able to do beach yoga on Tues and Thursday. (not sure if it is always there) We really couldn’t have asked for more, the owners were in contact to make sure we were all good, seem like great people, Daphne was so kind. Just a side note, we traveled with our two adult children with autism, they could not have been happier and more content and comfortable. So easy for them to get around. This is a bottom floor unit which is great for the going and coming of busy beach life. The unit is literally steps from the beach. You can walk out the backdoor and be at the boardwalk within seconds. You can walk out the front door and you are the at the gate for the pool. Perfect proximity if you have little kids because you are not having to carry beach equipment or pool toys long distances. We didn't even have to break out our wagon.
