We invite you to stay in our spacious newly remodeled and renovated 2 bed/2.5 bath townhouse condo located on Midnight Pass Rd. directly across the street from the beautiful (#1 rated beach in the USA) "Siesta Key Beach"!! Our beautiful condo boasts all the conveniences of your own home. A welcome respite awaits you with our freshly renovated kitchen, updated baths, very high quality furnishings, 70" led TV in living room, 46" led tv's in each bedrooms with free wifi and multiple movie channels, 3 furnished patios and luxury linens for all beds. Our condo is a very large unit at nearly 1400 square feet. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and living room has a queen size pull out sofa. The Bay Oaks resort is set amidst lush, tropical foliage on the Intracoastal Waterway, directly across from the Gulf of Mexico and world-famous Crescent/Siesta Beach with its soft, cool, sugar-white sand. Siesta Beach recently earned the title as the #1 Best Beach in America for 2011\. Enjoy shelling, jogging, windsurfing, beach volleyball, or just sunning on this beautiful beach. The main entrance being a short 1 min away by car (1 mile). Convenience stores and several great dining establishments are only a short stroll to the hidden treasure of Siesta Key Village. You can also hitch a free ride (tips appreciated) to Siesta Key Village where a wide range of shopping and dining fun awaits. Or, hop in your car and explore the local attractions of Sarasota and St. Armand's Circle. By car, many excellent local golf courses await those who like to hit the links. Public beach access is a short 1/4 mile away with plenty of parking and shops and multiple beach access points are all along Midnight Pass Road. Beach Access: \- The main “public access” parking lot is a very short 1-2-minute drive from our unit. You can either take a “free” taxi or the Trolly Service directly from the front of our complex or use your own vehicle. You would simply make a right upon exiting the parking lot at bay Oaks and head north for about 1/3 mile or two traffic lights and the main entrance is on your left side. Beach Access: Walking option- the closest walking access to our unit is “Beach Access 12” which is located 0.7 miles south on Midnight Pass Rd.. It is approximately an 8-10 min walk. If you prefer not to walk, the trolly and taxi service is free on the Island. The trolly runs very often (usually every 10 min.) and stops right next to our complex entrance. The main public beach (Siesta Key Beach) is approximately 1/2 mile (2 traffic lights) heading north on Midnight Pass Rd. Serenity abounds in calm, aqua waters and miles of the most exquisite quartz crystal sand. Charter boats, fishing equipment, jet ski rentals, kayak/paddleboard rentals, para-sailing, and bike rentals are all available across the street. For the convenience of our guests, we provide all the items needed for the beach including a beach cart, umbrella, chairs, beach toys, and towels. When you stay at condo, all you need is a swim suit and flip-flops and you are ready for a Siesta Key beach vacation. Siesta Key is truly a little slice of heaven for everyone in the family from grandparents to young children. We enjoyed the 2 1/2 bathrooms. Laundry room in condo, the pool and also dock area in the back. The parking space was convenient, located close to condo. The location to the beach was great too! Fireworks could be seen from the porch on Friday nights. Overall we loved this place. Only thing we didn’t like was the lack of supplies, no sponge, dishwasher soap or extra trash bags only 1/2 roll of paper towels, no coffee. A great condo for our family! We really liked to be able to spread out and have our own space. The various decks allowed for fresh air and different views. The boys loved the pool and the warm water. It was also a nice surprise to walk to the canal and watch the water and birds. We wished the beach was a little closer but it was a pleasant walk and didn't take too long. We jumped on the trolley a few times right in front of the condo to go downtown. We had a couple of meals in and all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. The skim board in the beach closet was a big hit with my teen boys who had never skim boarded before! Comfortable and great stay! ##### Paul H. The space was received in a very clean condition. Listing is honest and accurate. Communication with host via text and email was quick and cordial. Walk to public beach access is easily manageable. Parking could not be any better for this property. Do note access to the unit is up a flight of stairs and one flight exists in unit. Unit rules, directions, and information are clear and easily understood. We would rent this space again. ##### Jason G. The owners were very nice and accommodating. It was furnished generally tastefully, but on the darker and heavy side for a beach rental. The couches were comfortable and seemed newer, but the king bed mattress was saggy and needed replacing. Kitchen had most equipment but could use more light and a larger coffee maker given the size of the unit. Location was fine but a hike to the beach. ##### Marilyn T. Lou and Vicky outline everything that you will need for a successful trip, from what to do when first arriving at the property, to the check out process. Comfortable, clean and newly updated townhouse, in a great location, conveniently close to all - the most beautiful Siesta Beach for sunbathing and morning or evening walks, Ocean Blvd for shopping and great food, and only 20 minutes away from Downtown Sarasota. We were hoping to be closer to the water but could only see a small slice of it from one of the decks. The location is in the middle of both public beach access points so we did the loop twice. It was probably 20-25 minutes each way so an hour plus round trip. The facility seemed like it was run by a 3rd party and not the owners (probably was) as it lacked the well maintained feeling but was sufficent. We were missing a garbage can for the kitchen and got a quick response from the mgr who ordered one via Amazon - and it arrived the day we were leaving. There were a lot of steps....getting to the front door and within the unit. Nothing wrong with that but if you are hauling in luggage or something you should be aware. Parking was handy, overall a decent place....just a place we would not go back to. ##### Edward H.
