This hotel was terrific. We had a room with a terrace which which was great to for lounging, morning coffee, late night drinks with a spectacular view. In the center historico close to everything. Hotel had a great resturant and wonderful people to deal with. Will reccomend to friends and family.

The bedroom with balcony was amazing. Breakfasts and dinners were really good and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. To walk out the hotel and be in the centre of San G was a bonus

We stood for 1 night to break up our road trip from Switzerland to Naples but wish we could have stood longer. Great experience at this hotel! It is an older hotel so the room almost feels like a bedroom in someone’s home. The air condition worked about the same as everywhere else in Europe but what we loved is this was our only hotel with a ceiling fan which worked amazing! Parking is about a 2 block walk so pack light because dragging suitcases on the cobblestone streets was exhausting. Tons of shops and restaurants all around the hotel. Staff was great as well. We took advantage of breakfast in the morning which has spectacular views!

Great location by one of the main gates and parking. Incredible views from the room. Great service. Highly recommend.

It was amazing staying in the middle of this ancient city, it was inconvenient for we because there are no cars allowed in the city and the streets are from stone so it’s hard to pull your luggages. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff are kind and helpful. The restaurant has an impressive view of Tuscany.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bel Soggiorno, with a beautiful room overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The staff were extremely accommodating, even giving us a packed breakfast on the day we left, which was at 3.00 a.m.! It is beautifully situated on the main street.

Very practical location & proactive communication
Nice location inside the city (close to P1 parking). Very helpful and proactive information sent by hotel. Good restaurant belonging to hotel Bathroom a bit dated and overall insulation rather low. Room however nicely refurbished. Breakfast simple but sufficient.

Fint hotell i San Gimignano
Mycket trevligt hotell innanför stadsmuren med väldigt hjälpsam personal. Otroligt vacker utsikt över dalen från hotellrummets terass.

It is our mistake but your problem now
The only reason we booked this hotel was its parking. We had a parking on our reservation, but the hotel staff said we cannot use it because it is reserved. They checked my reservation, and indeed saw that I have a parking on it but they still didn’t care. It took us about 1 hour to find a parking slot outside, and it was 20 mins walking/climbing distance. They did not even apologise. “It is our mistake but your problem” attitude is so shocking for us.

Amazing views from the room
We had a room with a balcony and the views were spectacular. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms could definitely be updated (the fridge is almost vintage :)), it really didnt bother us as it fits the feeling of the town. Breakfast room is also amazing - really beautiful room with huge windows to watch the sunrise over the Tuscan hills. The only problem is parking - the closest one is the one right at the entrance of San Gimignano and is always full during the day. If you come back during the tourist hours (i.e before 4PM or so), you will probably have to leave the car in one of the public parking lots quite far from the hotel. If you are ok with walking, it's not a big problem but it can be inconvenient if you have luggage or other things to carry. And keep in mind that you have to pay tourist tax in cash when you check out - dont spend your last Euros, you will need them. Otherwise we were very happy with the stay - would definitely come back.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt in der Altstadt
Sehr schönes Hotel direkt in der Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön ausgestattet. Vom Frühstücksbereich hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Toskana. Wenn nicht gerade Corona ist kann man auch einen Pool mitbenutzen, welcher 3km entfernt in einem Partnerhotel ist.

L'hotel est idéalement situé en l'entrée de la ville. Le parking est à 50 m. Le petit-déjeuner dans la salle avec une vue panoramique sur la Toscane est très bien : copieux et bon. Service et personnel impéccable. Je recommande vivement cet hotel pour une visite de San Gimignano excellent rapport qualité/prix.
