El desayuno es maravilloso. ##### Monica Stayed 1 night in Dec 2024 ### 4/10 Poor #### Shinichi Nov 10, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities 最上階のデラックス ダブルルームに宿泊しました。 写真の通り４面がガラスで部屋からの眺めは圧倒的です。また、場所も良いところにあります。 でもそれだけという感想です。 1\. ホテルは建物の最上階にありますがエレベーターがありません。約７０段の階段を上り下りしなければなりません。観光で歩き回った後にこの７０段は大変きついです。ちょっと簡単に戻ってきてまた出かけるというのは無理です。 2\. さらに、この部屋は最上階のためさらに１階分階段を上ります。またメゾネット構造になっていて、メインの寝室部分にはさらに階段です。 3\. バスタブはありませんが、サウナがついていました（使いませんでしたが） 4\. エアコンが作動しませんでした。 5\. コロナのため非接触を進めているとのことで、事前にweb check-inでしたが、結局そこのスタッフに会ったのはチェックアウトの１回限りでした。ディナーのおすすめや予約などを頼めるような気楽さはありません。フルサービスホテルを期待してはいけません。 6\. これはどこのホテルも同じかと思いますが、駐車場はシエナの城壁の外になります。ホテル提携先駐車場はヴァレーサービス付きで１泊３０ユーロでした。 ##### Shinichi ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jacques Jun 2, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort We enjoyed the place. We stayed in the Nobile room and as others have said, the 360° views are astounding! The tower, the top of the duomo, the countryside in the distance, the city rooftops were all picture perfect. The room is spacious, the bed and pillows were very nice, the heated floors were a nice touch. Going down the stairs for the bathroom could be challenging in the dark so the motion light on the way down was very helpful. Bathroom also is spacious and has heated floors, although the sauna takes up quite a bit of the space. There are a few maintenance issues with the shower, but it was quite large. Check-in is a little unusual as you need to be prepared to call to have the lower door unlocked when you arrive. However, once you are in the outer door and climb 4 floors there are instructions in a key box for the rest of the stay. There arent really any check out instructions though so make sure you ask ahead of time if you plan to leave before 8am. You will be impressed :-) And don't forget the sauna.... The staff was so nice- check in by phone, the breakfast, and the check out process. Flavia stayed in touch with me via email before arrival, gave me great directions, opened the gate as soon as I called the number at the gate, and had prepared an envelope for me with the keys and information about Sienna. Breakfast in the morning was heavenly, and I was able to leave my luggage while I walked around Siena for a little while before heading to the train. When it was time to go, Flavia’s partner was so helpful calling me a taxi and helping with my bags. I couldn’t recommend more highly. The room itself was beautiful and very comfortable, and the sauna unit in the bathroom didn't hurt either! Breakfast, not originally included in our booking, was very reasonably priced and we had it delivered to our room at no extra cost. The owner Flavia and staff member Stefania were both incredibly nice and helpful. Do be aware of the check-in policy in advance, since it's a small place and there's no 24 hour reception. Other than that, I'd note that when we were out during the day and the rooms were tidied some personal items were moved - the thought was appreciated but I'd rather things had been left where they were. If I ever return to Sienna I will try to stay here. I've stayed in Rome, Orvieto, Milan, a villa in Tuscany, Lake Como, Cinque Terra, Florence, Naples, Turin, Venice and Sienna. In my experience as an American you need to prepare for a smaller bed and a smaller shower. My room had a very comfortable king size bed and a Jacuzzi! We also had a balcony that was small but had fabulous views. I've read the complaints about the stairs. While it is true that this is 4 stories up (which is why there are fabulous views) the very expensive Florence hotel we stayed in prior to coming here had steeper and more stairs. Its a manageable climb for most people. I say that as a person with a lower back injury which is why I so loved the Jacuzzi. Also, the hostess carried my wife's suitcase up the stairs for her. She offered to do the same form me. But I was able to do it on my own fairly easily. Once we got up the stairs the hostess, made us espresso which was very good and showed us a map of the town with dinner recommendations. They were good recommendations and we ate well. I asked for a recommendation for a massage. She gave me the name of a place. But the Jacuzzi was more than enough. They serve breakfast in the morning. I slept in and skipped it. My wife said the coffee was good. The breakfast was good but light. There is coffee, tea and cookies in the room. Tea, coffee and biscuits weee also provided. The staff would clean the room daily but would move our items (book left on bedside table would end up in a cupboard, toiletries in bathroom moved into a cupboard etc).
