Comfortable lodging in Tuscany
Lovely facility and well maintained. Charge for a single occupant/night was €72 including a good breakfast. This was well worth the money. A car is needed as the lodging is about 10 km from San Gimignano. The address is misleading as it shows being located in San Gimignano. If you’re driving be sure you receive clear directions. The navigation system brings one to the city which is distant and the street cannot be found.

Beautiful quiet place in Tuscany
I highly recommend this place. It is a beautiful, quiet and comfortable place in Tuscany. It is located near San Gimignano (15 minutes by car). It is on the road but you can find restaurants nearby. They have a pool, that we did not use because it was cold. A perfect place for couples.

Good for those visiting San Gimingiano
Great location after/before visiting San Gimingiano, big breakfast and very friendly staff. There is a nice pool and a recreation area. Heating wasnt as strong as we wanted it to be and the towels provided aren't nice. Overall good value and would have stayed again.

Cosy countryside residence
Great location with a view to San Gimignano from our terrace. Very good breakfast, friendly service, and lovely setting. Small football field for kids, a pool, and a lovely garden. Great place to start for exploring tuscany.

Our rooms are furnished in "arte povera" tuscan countryside style, as shown on the pictures, we cannot fullfill everyone's decoration taste.

Quiet, serene, and peaceful...
My friend and I were just passing through the area and only stayed for one night. However, the staff were very accommodating and nice. The location was quiet and relaxing. If I were to return to this area I would want to stay here. Very nice place. Reasonable cost.

Quiet, peaceful
Such a lovely place. My husband was quite sick so he spent his time here in bed!😡 Poor guy. I enjoyed sitting in the garden, reading by the pool and walking up to the village. I must also rave about the restaurant next door. I went there to order my lunch. I have a severe nut allergy. The owner's son also suffers from severe nut allergies. It was so wonderful to order and enjoy my meals (we also had two suppers here) without the worry of an anaphylactic reaction. ...the food was excellent. The gnocchi was wonderful! Much of what they serve is made on site.

Very nice B&B.
Great and easy check-in. Breakfast is right on time and Monica is very pleasant. Although they don't speak English, they are willing to help any way possible. The pool area is very pleasing and relaxing. Very close to town where you can go for something to eat. WIFI is nearly non-existent unless you open the door to your room.

Great location, nice staff. Good breakfadt
Very nice location, very quiet with nice room and good sized bath. If you're looking to totally disconnect, this is the place. We expected Wifi, which was essentially non existent. Couldn't get on wifi most of our 5 day stay.

Thank you Susan for this good review. When I red what you said about the Wifi connection I was very surprised, as properly from this year we now receive a much stronger signal. I remember also controlling with you at the desk that you had the connection, and during you stay you didn't mention this lack of connection. We controlled and we noticed that the signal is very weak in the room you had, far from the antenna. We will solve this issue, as today, being connected is important.

Tuscan Visit
Beautiful little diamond in the hills of Siena. Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was a plus. It's a little hard to find but it was definitely worth it. In the heart of Tuscany.

lovely warm welcome
we really enjoyed our stay, the owners were really friendly and welcoming, lovely to have a small outside area. Great to have a bar facility selling chilled wine/ beer, only stayed one night but really pleasant stay

Awesome find!
Located ourself at this fantastic place in Tuscany as our base for exploring this wonderful region. It was so quiet and nice to escape the big city to relax in the surrounds of the Tuscan hills. Staff were very helpful and felt as if we were leaving family on our departure ! Great local restaurant just a minute away

Empfehlenswerte Anlage
Netter Empfang und gute Einweisung von Thomas. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Wünsche wurden von Monika immer erfüllt. Das Fahrzeug steht sicher in der abends verschlossenen Anlage. Das relativ kleine Zimmer mit dem fensterlosen Bad und die kleine Terrasse hatten nichts besonderes. Jedoch ist die sehr leise und effektive Klimaanlage, welche auch bei Abwesenheit aktiv sein kann (bei Außentemperaturen von nahe 40 Grad notwendig) hervorzuheben. Schön war auch der kurze Fußweg zum Lokal im Ort oberhalb. Recht großer Pool, für Sonnenschutz können die Bäume auf dem Rasen in der Nähe sorgen, wenn die Schirme überfordert waren. Mit dem Fahrzeug sind viele schöne Ausflüge möglich.

Cadre splendide et chambre très agréable !
Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit dans ce petit coin de Toscane. Le cadre est splendide avec une vue magnifique et la piscine est un vrai plus ! La chambre est propre et spacieuse, décorée dans le pur style toscan avec la climatisation et un petit frigo. La salle de bains n'est pas très grande mais elle est impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et très varié. Nous avons été accueillis par un français expatrié en Italie depuis longtemps qui nous a donné des tas de conseils sur des lieux intéressants à visiter et de bons endroits où nous pouvions diner. Une très bonne expérience !!!

Sérénité et ravissement
Un excellent accueil,une chambre agréable avec coin terrasse privé(genial pour l’apero)le tout dans un cadre splendide et une grande piscine pour se délasser après une journée de visite.l’hotel est Très bien situé pour sillonné la région et de bon resto sont aux alentour(voiture obligatoire).. Deux petits points négatifs mais négligeables:literie un peu trop ferme et le petit déjeuné pourrait être un peu plus rafiné.

En ce qui concerne le matelas, vous l'auriez préféré moins ferme, alors que d'autres préfère l'inverse... les petit déjeuner varie en fonction des saisons, vous devrez donc revenir nous voir !

Pace tra la campagna Toscana
Posto incantevole fra le colline ' il bed and breakfast il cardino merita un soggiorno. Graziose e confortevoli le camere con patio esterno e bellissimo il giardino con piscina. Utilissimi i consigli della ragazza che serve la colazione per visitare San Giminiano. Grazie per averci suggerito una visita alla Rocca .

Magnífica elección cerca de San Gimignano
La elección de este alojamiento ha sido acertadísima. Antico Borgo il Cardino, que es una antigua casa de pastores, está preparado con gran detalle. La habitación, muy limpia, cama cómoda y baño en perfectas condiciones, con una ducha con el agua a gran presión. Nuestra habitación (la número 22) tenía un pequeño espacio de jardín rodeado de setos, para mayor privacidad, con una mesita y dos sillas. Nos nos bañamos en la piscina, en la parte baja del jardín, pero tenía muy buen aspecto, rodeada de numeroras hamacas. La sala de desayunos, con vistas al jardín. El desayuno, variado y bueno. Gran espacio para dejar los coches. Tanto la propietaria como la empleada, muy amables. Cerca de San Gimignano y de Colle di Val d'Elsa, dos lugares maravillosos de la siempre preciosa Toscana.

Ottimo luogo per relax con famiglia e visite
Tutto ottimo. Uniche avvertenze: cimici e assenza di illuminazione sul lungo percorso che porta al borgo venendo da San Gimignano. Non ci sono cartelli stradali o sono poco visibili ed inoltre il mio navigatore non mi ha trovato l'indirizzo. Per tutto il resto ECCELLENTE
