The property is a working horse stable, not just a room rental for tourists. There are a lot of activities on site, including nature walks and children’s play equipment. Our room was huge. Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was great. Real feal of Tuscany and Italy. Relax or use as a jump off point to visit all the wonderful Tuscan hill towns, including Siena, which is only a few miles away. Owner is very helpful and personable. We will be back.

Nice agriturismo not far from Siena.
We had a pleasant and quiet stay but it fell a little short of being a memorable one

Very nice Agriturismo
Very nice and relaxing stay. The owner and her staff were all very accommodating, the location near Siena and other towns was very convenient, and the stay there was pleasant. Breakfast was ok - we've had better at the other hotels we've stayed at. But I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Difficult to locate. GPS coordinates would help immensely. Biggest complaint is that the towels are of thin cotton (like bed sheet material), so rather useless for the purpose. Also, ran out of hot water one night (of two-night stay). Otherwise, a very charming, quiet, rural setting, and an excellent value.

Pleasant hotel in a good location for Siena
Nice rustic agriturismo near to Siena, the proprietor was very helpful giving us lots of hints on parking and access when going to the palio.

The La Selva was a great get away spot. My husband and I found it too far out of Siena as the roads at night are black & driving into Siena at night was scary. We decided 2nd night to grab a pizza & eat it in the garden which was a shame as we wud have liked to see Siena at night but just too dangerous a drive. Breakfast was typical continental. I wud recommend only to people who want to truly get away from crowds, city etc. It was clean & adequate but not for some place I would rush back to.

Great B&B just outside Siena
La Selva is a relaxing B&B about a 15 min drive outside Siena. Mario, the proprietor, was very friendly. Our 1 bedroom appartment above the office was terrific. Great breakfast. The property also has horses (mares and foals). Really enjoyed La Selva and would return.

Charming Horse Farm
This is a wonderful experience, a rural horse farm where race horses are bred. It is an Agritourismo working farm, so be prepared for the sights, sounds and smell of horses. The staff was helpful, guiding us to a good local restaurant. The farm is a bit difficult to find, so best get there by daylight. Our Expedia reservation and website didn't have the farm's phone number, so it took a few locals to direct us to the right street. It does not have a full restaurant, it serves dinner tastings by arrangement only. The breakfast service was very good. with homemade jams. We were delighted to be there, and would definitely stay there again.

Lo mejor del alojamiento es su entorno, rodeado de naturaleza y caballos. Buen trato y estupendo desayuno. Lo peor: las instalaciones están un poco antiguas, en particular el cuarto de baño.

😊A 5 minuti di auto dal centro di Siena, e nello stesso tempo immersi nel silenzio della natura e del verde. Piscina anch’essa. Davvero bella esperienza soprattutto x chi può decidere quando andare a Siena, città viva di turisti oppure rimanere nella tranquillità.Un’ottima opportunità di staccare la spina. Unico neo, integrerei e varierei un po’ più la colazione. Torneremo sicuramente e tanti complimenti per la cortesia e disponibilità trovata😊

Il paradiso!
Questo posto ci è entrato nel cuore. Immerso nel silenzio a 2 passi da Siena, è l'ideale per fare escursioni nei dintorni o anche solo per rilassarsi a bordo piscina. Cavalli che pascolano, cagnolini adorabili ed Elena, la proprietaria, sempre presente e sorridente. Colazione squisita con torte fatte in casa. Super!

Gentile Anonymous (...), grazie per aver soggiornato presso di noi, ogni recensione è utile per migliorarsi, però non posso fare a meno di porre a lei e a tutti quelle persone che leggeranno la sua recensione una domanda: Cosa impedisce al cliente di chiedere di risolvere i disagi durante il soggiorno piuttosto che lamentarsi dopo? Sicuramente se mi avesse esposto i problemi avrei fatto di tutto per risolverli, fecendo sì che la vostra vacanza sarebbe stata più soddisfacente, no? Ci sono diverse reti wifi, sarebbe bastato avvertire per poter risolvere, cosa fatta per comunicazione di un altro ospite. Stesso discorso per il wc, cambiato il pezzo rotto alla vostra partenza, cosa che potevo fare con tranquillità durante la vostra permanenza. Purtroppo per il segnale telefonico posso fare poco, è un disagio per tutta l'area, speriamo che la Tim risolva al più presto problema. Cordialmente.

Relax, cordialità e vicinanza a Siena.
Buongiorno. abbiamo trascorso un piacevolissimo soggiorno, per quanto breve (4 giorni), con la mia famiglia. Un podere magnifico, immerso nella campagna toscana ma vicinissimo a Siena, tranquillissimo, pulito, con ampi spazi e assolutamente ideale per rilassarsi e godersi la Toscana verace. Le stanze sono rustiche ma ampie, pulite, e confortevoli. Lo staff (conduzione familiare) cordiale, gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ci è venuto incontro per una nostra piccola esigenza e lo abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo. Colazione abbondante e coerente con il tipo di ospitalità. Siamo stati bene e siamo molto soddisfatti, sicuramente consigliamo questa struttura e sicuramente, alla prossima occasione in Toscana, ci torneremo.

Wir hatten für 5 Nächte gebucht. Die uns zugeteilte Wohnung war schummerig und das Bad eine einzige Katastrophe. Die Dusche war mit einem Duschvorhang abgetrennt, welcher an einer Stange befestigt war, welche gleich abzubrechen drohte. Man hatte keinen Platz in der Dusche sich umzudrehen. Das Wasser wurde auch erst nach ca. 2 Minuten warm. Am Boden bildete sich Schimmel. Das Schlafzimmer war schummrig. Die Leitungen lagen über Putz. Die Wohnung wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Das Frühstück haben wir in einem etwas dunklen gewölbten Raum eingenommen. Teilweise standen billige Blechdosen auf dem "Frühstücksbuffet-Tisch". Wir sind dann nach 4 Nächten abgereist

La mia esperienza e stata negativa,avevo specificato di avere un disabile,ma loro mi hanno detto che non riescono a vedere sul vostro portale questa specifica, x andare a fare colazione c'erano le scale, per fortuna eravamo in due...oltre al fatto che non avrei dovuto pagare la tassa di soggiorno e me l'hanno fatta pagare sempre xke non riescono a vederlo dal portale, e io basta che si affaccia fuori e vede mia figlia in carrozzina...camera freddissima ...e umida ,colazione molto scadente e la sig. Poco cordiale.Sicuramente non ci torneremo più.

The behaviour of the owner felt uncomfortable
Unfortunately we didn't have so nice stay at the farm. They have a great potential at the place with some tidying all over plus having a bit more lighting at night. And the reception should definitely get some renovation because it smells so much cigarette. The biggest disappointment to us was that the pool closed for the winter the same day we arrived even though the owner had said earlier to me that it would be open when I asked by email. Without pool you can as well stay in the city of Siena for the same price. Owners are nice if you are nice to them. I gave some bad feedback due to the pool and they became really angry and I honestly felt a little afraid of staying there after that. I don't think that's acceptable behaviour for an owner. They also thought that I was asking too many questions. This is also something I think is a part of having a "hotel". The breakfast was good, especially the bread. The flat we got was nice but there was a stop in the shower. I'm sure the place is nice in the summer with more lights and the pool.

Piscine agréable après une journée de visite.
Points positifs : Très belle maison dans la campagne, à 4km au Nord de Sienne. Belle piscine, vue dégagée depuis une terrace. Propriétaire très gentil! Chambre spacieuse avec frigidaire Grand parking gratuit Points négatifs Pas de climatisation Petite fenêtre très haute sur le toit, qui nécessite une perche. D'autres chambres ont un balcon et doivent-être beaucoup mieux.

Bella soluzuone per chi voglia soggiornare appena fuori le mura di Siena, in mezzo alla campagna nel cuore della toscana con le sue passeggiate a cavallo. La struttura si trova al centro di una tenuta che ospita diversi cavalli. Le stanze sono semplici ma ben tenute e pulite.

Location Particolarmente rilassante e piacevole , a pochissima strada da Siena in auto . Difficoltoso da trovare in quanto il navigatore non riconosce il n. civico di riferimento e quindi si è costretti a contattare telefonicamente .

Kan det bli bedre?
Gård utenfor Siena. Svømmebasseng. Rustikk park rundt hovedhus. Vi fikk servert middag ved dekket bord i parken (ute). Meget vennlig betjening. Ideelt å bruke halve dagen i Siena og resten av dagen på gården. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Gården driver med oppstalling av gallop-hester.

Località suggestiva, immersa nel verde a 2 km dal centro di Siena. È un piacere svegliarsi alla mattina e sentire il nitrito dei cavalli!
