The house is situated in a very quiet, detached location on a 645 square meter south-facing plot in the Vorauf vacation park near Siegsdorf, Inzell and Ruhpolding and its location offers an ideal starting pointfor a variety of activities. In the vacation park there are tennis courts, a children's playground and football pitch, skating and basketball courtsand in winter a cross-country ski trail as well as a ski slope with drag lift in the immediate vicinity. In addition to numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, you have a central starting pointfor excursions to the Chiemsee, Waginger See, Königsee, Salzburg, Berchtesgaden as well as short distancesfor skiing and cross-country skiing or for cycling and mountain hikes. Es gab mehr als genug Platz für alle und alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden – besonders in der Küche: viele Utensilien, ein Grill, Gartenmöbel und vieles mehr. Die Lage des Hauses ist herrlich ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen. Morgens wird man vom Vogelgezwitscher geweckt, und die Umgebung von Siegsdorf lädt zu vielen schönen Ausflügen ein – tolle Almen sind in der Nähe, aber auch bei schlechtem Wetter gibt es attraktive Alternativen wie Thermen, das Salzbergwerk oder das Mammutmuseum. Die Gaststätten in der Umgebung sind einfach nur spitze, so leckeres und frisch zubereitetes Essen, gepaart mit äußerster Gastfreundlichkeit. Ein Auto ist allerdings von Nöten. Ein großes Dankeschön an Familie Geisler – sie sind sehr herzlich, der Check-in und Check-out waren absolut unkompliziert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Die Lage im Ferienpark Vorauf ist sehr idyllisch, wenn auch etwas abgelegen. Also nur empfehlenswert, wenn man mobil ist (Pkw und gut zu Fuß) und die Ruhe liebt. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem E-Bike sehr schön. In dem sehr geräumigen Haus findet man alles, was man braucht. Sollte doch was fehlen, kann man sich immer an die freundliche Familie Geißler wenden. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die liebevoll zusammengestellten Ausflugstipps in einer Objektmappe und die zahlreichen Flyer, die die Familie Geißler gesammelt hat. Sie geben aber auch gern persönliche Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, vielen Dank! Das sehr geräumi Pros: Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern + Großeltern) waren im August 2018 im Ferienhaus Meran. Das sehr geräumige Haus ist super ausgestattet. Es gibt alles, was man braucht. Einer liebevoll gestaltete Objektmappe (auch mit Wanderkarten) kann man alle Ziele in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung entnehmen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, da man sehr viele Ausflugsziele, Seen sowie auch die Berge in nächster Nähe hat. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub in sehr schöner Gegend verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Bei Fragen kann man sich immer an die freundliche Familie Geißler wenden. Die Lage ist super - Ruhe garantiert und wir werden wiederkommen und uns auch auf ein nettes, informatives Gespräch mit der Familie Geißler freuen, die auch immer einen guten Tipp für Wanderungen, Essen, etc. auf Lager haben. Beide Häuser sind gut ausgestattet und haben viel zusammengetragene Informationen über den Chiemgau und Umgebung. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir können das Haus bestens weiterempfehlen, allerdings ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig. Die Familie Geißler ist sehr hilfsbereit, wohnt direkt nebenan und ist deshalb gut erreichbar.
