Had wonderful stay at the Malena Palace. Room was large, brand new, and spotless. Location is perfect, in the middle of everything. And the hostess Malena was so friendly and very helpful. We would stay again !! Just a tip, when you get to the door to the apartments (small sign that says Malena Palace), ring the doorbell and Malena will open the door and greet you and take you to your apartment.

This was a perfect place to stay for our short visit to Split. The room was spacious, spotless and ideally located rfor the old town of Split. Maelna (our host) was brilliant, recommending places to go and things to do. I would recommend this place

Convenient lovely smaller hotel in a very walkable and safe area that is itself the heart of Split. The hostess was gracious and shared her knowledge of the area as well as some useful tips on what to see, where to find good restaurants etc. the hotel room was bright, clean and nicely decorated and came with air conditioning which was most welcome.

Perfect location, great room, lovely host!
A lovely couple of nights here at the weekend. Perfect location, comfortable room with air conditioning and a king and friendly host. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be staying again if I come back.

Split
Come and say hi to Malena and Milan, the apartments are smack bang in the middle of old Split. Sit on the terrace in the evening and just look at the church. Ask Malena for her beautiful lemonade drink. Everything you want in Split is literally a stone throw from the apartments. The apartments are beautifully clean and tidy and there is tea coffee available and if you need it Malena can help with washing. You won't be disappointed

Great location. Malena was a very good and kind host who gave me a drink and some food all grown or made by her. I checked in early. Wifi excellent . Clean , quiet and comfortable room. . Lovely balcony to overlook bell tower.

Marlena palace was a fantastic place to stay. My husband and I were there for two nights before a cruise and were very happy with our stay. It’s a little tricky to find- through the posidion restaurant side alley and then up the stairs- but everything in split is tricky to find :). Only three rooms at this hotel, big rooms and clean, great air conditioning, rooftop patio. Right in the Center of of the walled city. I highly recommend staying there.

Malena is super nice and very helpful. Her place is comfortable and clean, inside the palace walls with a great view from the small rooftop terrace. A great deal for the price. We'll be coming back for sure.

Amazing stay in the heart of Split
Malena Palace is the perfect stay in Split. It is located inside the Diocletian Palance, 2 min walk from the Peristil (the palace square) and I had a view of the Saint Domnius Bell Tower from our window. There is also a small terrace with a better view. The room was sparkling clean and we were greeted with homemade lemonade. Also before the checkout, we were offered apples. Best accommodation in Split 100% We stayed there for 2 nights and could not have ask for more.

The location is great if you like to be in the heart of the palace. We found it very convenient for restaurants, small grocery stores, shopping, booking tours, and ATMs. The managers were very nice people and helpful too. Storage for luggage after check out. Nice little rooftop area for enjoying a happy hours overlooking the rooftops. Small fridge in the room is always appreciated! Laundry is available too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay.

Fantastic location just inside palace. The hostess greeted us with drinks and fresh fruit and provided lots of brochures and information. There are three flights of stairs to reach the apartment but after Dubrovnik this felt like a true vacation. The room was basic but clean and comfortable bed. No problem recommending this place.

Brydog trip to Split.
i want to thank Malena for her kindness and welvome dutring my 2 night stay at Malena Palace. my plane arrived very lste saturday night but i managed find Malena Palace with some help ftom locals about 2am. the room was extremely clean and i am one of tbose people who appreciates a clean hotel room. location is fantastic and the view from roof is beautiful.

Great location
The location is amazing - right inside the Palace grounds. The only downside was walking up to the 5th floor with luggage - no help / no elevator. The owner was wonderful.

Malena thank you very much! Have a very good time for 8 nights staying at Malena Palace which is very central located, nearby bus/ferry/train terminals and meeting point of day/boat tours. After Malena's briefing, I am easily identified all the locations, she also prepared cherries (yummy) and cookies and juice for me. I like Split, it's beauty, the port, seaview, nearby wet market, Marjan Park, nice people, smile, the warm welcome from Malena, as well as the restaurants serve varieties choices of dish with very reasonable price from morning to night and waiters are happy to hear the feedback for the food/services, most of them are quite handsome 😁. Seasonal fruits , cherries & strawberries in mid May, also selling at very reasonable price at wet market. I enjoyed the stay in Malena Palace, absolutely no negative view, a good chance of feeling acient Split staying inside the wall. Malena keeps it up, Super ! 😀

Malena is very friendly and gave me cake and apples when I arrived. She also gave me tour maps and made recommendations on whtat to see. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed here in the winter and there was a heater that kept the room nice and warm. The shared kitchen provided coffee and tea free of charge.

Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. It's hard to find: we called it our hole in the wall but it's literally in the wall of Diocletian's Palace. It's up tree flights of stairs though. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view of the cathedral bell tower. You can't get closer to the action than that.

Fantastic location
Room basic but very clean and comfortable. Everything you needed, air con, fridge, hairdryer and towels were there. Only thing we would have liked was another mirror (3 girls trying to get ready.) Malena was lovely who provided lots of info and maps, teaching us local words and providing water and fruits etc. She even stood at the bus stop waiting for us but unfortunately we got a taxi as didn’t know. Tip, get the bus, taxi was 250k, bus was 33k each and once there, everyone tells you to use public transport. We were able to store our luggage on leaving day which was also really good. Location could not have been better, right in the palace grounds. Fab wee trip

Excellent location inside the palace, two streets from the iron gate, on a stairwell off a small courtyard. Great welcome from our host who met us with a sign at the train station and walked with us through the city, pointing out interesting sights on our way to the accommodation, giving us tips on what to see in the area and recommended a good trattoria for lunch. Stunning view of the bell tower from our room. There's a bakery with seating around the corner for a quick and easy breakfast. We had a great time and would be very happy to visit again.

The room is very small and you have to climb 3 stories with luggage to reach here, not a good experience when you reach after a long journey. It is located in the center of the old town.

Location, location, location!
If you are looking to stay right in the heart of Split then this is the place for you. It is located within the palace so everything is at your fingertips. If you have a car, you must park a little distance away, due to this location in a pedestrian area only. Loads of shops, historical sites and restaurants within walking distance!! Host is very accommodating!!
