With the stunning town of Airlie Beach and all its attractions, dining and beaches only 15 minutes drive away, Shutehaven Beach House is the ideal accommodation for you to sit, relax and enjoy one of the Whitsundays finest views. A scenic and winding road takes you back to Airlie Beach through beautiful back drops, with some hiking trails and beaches to stop and take along the way. Take your fishing rod and drop a line on a secluded beach and see what you can catch! This two level home, has direct access from the car port to the pool, an outdoor entertaining area with a rustic and homely setting making this beachy home the perfect getaway. We came here to snorkel and were not disappointed. We hired a boat for day trips and cruised the islands, snorkeling on the many reefs. If we do it again we’d hire a skipper with local knowledge to save time. Eventually the weather closed in so we took a tour to Whitehaven and swam there and didn’t snorkel as there’s no reef. It was beautiful. We always wore stinger suits and didn’t have any issues.
