I am unhappy as I rang you and you confirmed that breakfast was included in the price. The hotel said it was not so I had to apy extra. It was therefore dearer than booking direct with the hotel
Only stayed for one night but found the hotel comfortable and relaxing with good facilities. If we were in Oswestry we would definitely stay here again.
We booked a room last minute and had a lovely time. The room was small and the decor slightly old fashioned but it was comfortable, relaxing, clean and a really pleasant stay. The spa was great and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant food was good but the decor is also a bit old fashioned. Would definately go back.
A nice enough hotel, but its a 3 star and certainly not a 4 star. Food was very good. Gym was ok, as was spa. But not a water machine in sight in either. Staff were friendly. What annoyed me is that fact £100 prepayment was frozen on my bank account on arrival and it took 3 days before this payment was released back into my account and I could access these funds. Ive never had a hotel do this to me before. The hotel is a bit dated now and though quant is not luxury.

Comfortable hotel, good location
Breakfast was nice, good location but the hotel itself was a little tired and could do with some minor renovations.
We have stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are being refurbished and modernised, but within the character of a Georgian coaching inn. The food is suberb; for example our asparagus with Hollandaise sauce and poached egg as a bar snack was a delight. (We had chunky chips too.) The local beer is very good too.
Historic hotel of character in town centre, good food.
Historic hotel of character in town centre, good food. Kippers for breakfast were brilliant and the full English was excellent. Stairs difficult for people with mobility problems but it goes with staying in a Georgian building. Try the local micro-brewery beer in the bar!
