"Great value for money. Stayed for 2 nights passing through from Scotland to Cardiff. Only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Has free parking although this is limited to 7 spaces. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be really tasty. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great shower pressure. Sun deck and beer garden was great as we had good weather to enjoy them. Took our drinks out there in the evenings. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Really clean room with comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. Great location, just over the bridge from the main centre. Perfect for our one night stay in Shrewsbury - we will definitely be back!"

"Good stopover on way to Snowdonia. Nicely sized room which was clean and good quality linen/towels. Needed to ask for new batteries for the remote control after realising they weren’t working and staff were able to replace them without much delay. Good size bathroom too."

"Only reason I have an average for the amenities is that we didnt really use any other than the bar for a drink so couldnt provide a true reflection. We stayed one night to attend a wedding at another local hotel. The hotel is pleasant, quiet and there is a nice walk to Battlefield 1403 which is a local farm shop and cafe."
