The room uograde was wonderful. The Desk Clerk & all employees we delt with were extremely friendly & accommodating. Huge Hotel...23 floors on the Red River. No Valet parking available. Free Garage parking. Bell Captains available. Would stay there again.

Stayed in the 19th floor and water from bathroom came out brown, bed was so hard a board would have been more comfortable and had to leave at 4 a.m. inability to sleep on mattress

This is a fun little property. I will say, when they say you are on a paddle boat for the casino, you are but you won’t know it haha. There are a lot of restaurant options, but most are only open on a few certain days and they did have entertainment during the weekend. Overall a nice place and front desk was very helpful.

I hadn't been to Shreveport in 20 years and was pleasantly surprised how well they have improved all the hotel/casinos. Sam's Town was very clean, the gaming was fun and the food was great. The highway system was very confusing but it wasn't bad enough for me not to want to return for another visit. Would highly recommend a stay.

Room could’ve been cleaner. Found a candy wrapper. Otherwise it was ok. The A/C control did not work. It was on the fritz. No microwave in rooms. King bed was comfortable though. The staff were the only good part. Excellent service, especially the lady at the front desk. She was very nice.

This hotel is clean and convenient. Unfortunately, it has had horrible water pressure during previous recent visits. Water literally cuts back mid shower and later blasts out shower head shortly after. Some restaurants and the spa are only open on specific days. The front desk clerks are amazingly accommodating and helpful. Rooms are always clean, but dated. Even with the noted concerns I would still recommend this property. It’s clean, safe, good location and sometimes reasonably priced

We spent one Sunday night at the property. Check-in was easy and fast. The desk clerk was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I asked for a quiet room, and she accommodated with a deluxe king room on the 15th floor with a view of the river, a large bathroom and vanity area. The casino river boat was a little dated, but we had fun in the non-smoking section on the 1st level. The waitstaff was prompt and friendly. For some reason, our room keys got de-activated twice, prompting a trip down to the front desk each time to be fixed. There is one restaurant and a small cafe. We planned to have breakfast at the restaurant, but it is closed on Mondays. The cafe had a nice selection of breakfast items and sandwiches. We will probably stay again if we have the opportunity to visit Shreveport again.

I arrived at 3:35 am after driving from Dallas. I was awoken at 4:57 by staff and security because my “card didn’t go through for the $20 resort fee.” I was then told that actually they entered it in wrong, but I still had to go to the lobby and pay… at 5 am. I slept for 2 hours then had to leave again.

I liked my room and it was really big, especially just for two people! But I could tell it was more than due for an update. The baseboards were coming off the wall and there weren't any charging ports on the overnight stand. Not a dealbreaker or anything, but it could definitely be improved upon. The parking garage was so noisy. Anytime a car would go up the ramp it sounded like a thunderstorm. I know there's nothing that can be done about it, but just wanted to offer feedback.

The room furniture was ragged. The food in the restaurant was not good. The meatloaf was unseasoned. The green beans were over cooked and soggy. The two people I dealt with at check in were outstanding.

Very good stay. When we arrived we asked for a Bellman to assist with our luggage. The Bellman who came (this was around 2PM on 03/14/2024) was very friendly and helpful. There was a slight mixup with our room and he was able to fix it immediately. Other staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

We went to shop til you drop Shreveport. Amazing shops from local and small businesses. Great day! We came home up from Sams Towns casino. The staff were not only friendly and helpful but they seemed genuinely happy to be there. Nice police presence in the area which made us feel good. (Several patroling officers around the area) Overall it was a great weekend!
