I just didn’t expect that the room was too small. Our luggage seemed too big for the room, although there’s under the bed storage. The room is clean. The staff were so polite. Excellent service.! We had our luggage transferred to our next destination, with a minimal fee. There is only one elevator for the multiple floors in this hotel, and there's a sign in the elevator cautioning the peak elevator times. The breakfast advertised Shizuoka specialties, but we didn't feel like they had much depth of flavor, and the tempura option was slightly hard. It did its job of filling us up but didn't leave a good impression. The tea and coffee included with breakfast were also weak. However, the tea offered in the lobby in the evening was exceptional. Please have some when you visit! We were also surprised this location did not have hot spring baths as have all the other APAs we have stayed. This location was convenient to the train station, shopping and dining, so it served us sufficiently.
