The rooms are always immaculately clean everyday. When I go back in my room it smells amazing and looks amazing. Location is great if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It’s literally on a private island so no stores or anything is close by (about a 30/40 minute drive) and it’s extremely hard to get an uber because they uber drivers don’t want to go all the way to Chale. But the resort does have transportation for an extra fee so no worries. Overall an amazing experience, amazing people, amazing amenities. The drinks are so fresh. I’d visit again!" I cannot express how lovely our time was here. The room was a great size with plenty of space a storage, and we had a balcony from which we could watch monkeys play in the trees. The aircon was a godsend! The hotel is set up as about 10-15 villas rather than as one large complex. This creates a much more boutique and homey feeling. There are many areas to enjoy in the hotel, including the gorgeous private beach. The food was exceptional, and despite being all inclusive, managed to stay away from the trap of being samey by day 3\. The staff (from cleaners to chefs, waiters and bartenders) were all delightful and made us feel extremely welcome. We each enjoyed a spa treatment which worked wonders following a week of bumpy safari roads. All in all, I can only say please book this place if you’re considering it! No shops in walking distance, if you want to stay in this hotel, make sure you bring everything you need with you. Only negative thing is unfortunately the beach, big beautiful beach but you cant use it, as soon as you step on the beach you will be surrounded by bracelet ,safari etc sellers, even tho we said no multiple times they dont seem to understand and follow you everywhere you go, put us off from going to the beach.
