"Great boat traffic from the kitchen table windows. We watched men catching fish within 1 minute of casting. The Birds were abundant chirping loud. It rained our 3 days we were there but it did not stop us from kayaking or renting a Pontoon Boat at Play and Stay on Lake Norman it was 1 mile away and we drove the boat right up to our rental house. "Stayed two nights with some longtime friends. We had a wonderful experience. The house is very comfortable, tidy, and organized. Hosts Adam and Jessica have clearly considered not only what guests will need, but also what they might enjoy. We especially liked the coffee/tea bar, the fire pit (stocked with plenty of firewood), relaxing in the deck chairs on the dock, and having kayaks on-site and available for use any time. "This is a beautiful spot! It rained and stormed our entire weekend there but we were still able to sit under the gazebo on the dock and have a relaxing weekend away. The host was courteous and allowed us our privacy but was available if needed. The neighbor was kind as well. They left us a basket of snacks and a couple of bottles of water which was appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. The living area is well equipped and has everything you may need. "Everything was immaculate when we arrived and the view was breathtaking. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay, the welcome package was an added surprise and our cat Lilly enjoyed her little treat as well. Seeing the deer and little red fox each day made our getaway even more memorable."

"The house was the star of our stay. It had all the amenities that you could ever want in a house and the location was a dream. Easy access to the lake down from the little beach or off of the dock (cannonball!). Kayaking and paddle boarding in the cove was perfect for beginners or the more adventurous could head out to the lake. Overall, great experience. Communication with the owner was quick, easy and timely. Great property! Highly recommend!!"
