The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was very modern and great for cooking together, and the beds were so comfy! We loved the gathering spaces—we sat on the dock with a beautiful lake view and relaxed around the cozy firepit. We also visited the White Silo Winery (just two minutes down the road!) for wine & live music, and had the best brunch at American Pie. So glad we stayed at this lovely, cozy home on Candlewood Lake over a winter weekend. The lakefront house is charming on the outside and fully updated on the inside with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The hosts have thought of every detail and amenity to make guests feel welcome right away. Super-comfortable beds, great kitchen island to sip coffee around, and cool amenities (we loved the espresso machine!). Easy check-in and responsive hosts who are obviously invested in their guests having a comfortable stay in Sherman. So much to do in the area - don't miss New Preston, Port Washington, New Milford, and Kent - hiking, great restaurants, shopping, rolling hills and farms. Can't wait to return! ##### Danna E.
