Traditional steep stair case. Door into: Sitting room: with woodburner and TV. Traditional steep stair case leading to first floor small landing, with door to double bedroom with double bed and TV. Door to: Bunk room with single bed on the bottom and single bed on top (suitable for children only). Door to family shower room: walk in shower, WC and washbasin. Outside: Separate secluded gravelled area with seating (please note that this is the only outdoor space belonging to the property). Shared driveway with allocated parking space. Please note: Traditional steep stair case. Fitted stair gate. 1 x small dog permitted at £20.00 per week. This property has an additional £20.00 per week applied to it to cover the rising utility charges. Iron and table top ironing board available. Please provide your own logs if wood burner is required. The property we stayed in was very clean and first impressions were good, however, we found a number of things that made life difficult! High street and railway within walking distance, plus a Tesco supermarket, so everything you need close by. If you have a dog, there is a park just across the road and walking trails close by. The cottage is quite small and the stairs are very steep with narrow steps. Going up isn't so bad, but coming down you need to be sure footed. Really comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen, not that I go beyond tea and toast when I'm on holiday! We didn't find the bed that comfortable, but that's down to personal choice. The one down side to be aware of is getting out of the dedicated parking spot if you are driving. The cottage is on a main road and the view getting out of the driveway is hindered by vans parking along the road. Caution is required. I wouldn't recommend this property for small children because of the stairs and being on a main road. Please note that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage, you need to go across the parking area, so you can't just let the dog,.or children out without some supervision. But, it's a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. ##### Lorraine J. The heating and hot water system is good and the kitchen appliances are new. The green opposite the cottage is great for the early morning dog walk and town is just a 10 mins walk. Yes it is small and the stairs are steep but it was everything we could of needed for a lovely 2 weeks stay. As mentioned the stairs are very steep so not good for people with mobility issues or who are unsteady on their feet but it didn’t really cause us any problems.
