Owen and I live on site - We like to meet and greet our guests , but also there is a key pad access to the Annex so complete privacy can be had . The property itself is gorgeous, quirky and very well equipped with everything you need and more. The town is quiet, but has lots of little nooks & crannies to explore. It's also incredibly central to Bath, Glastonbury, and the rest of Somerset. That's important, because driving in the area is a bit of a slow (and sometimes stressful) process. The house is gorgeous, spacious, and has lots of modern amenities. Excellent hot water supply to the upstairs, so baths & showers were easy for our family of 5\. The beds are comfortable, and the many homey touches (Netflix, DVDs, games) made it so that my kids often didn't want to leave the house & garden for our adventures in the morning. Annie and Owen have added little touches that show a lot of thought has gone into making it special. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, and when you sit outside in the private, walled garden, you feel like you are in your own little Manor House. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding area: Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wells (one of our favourites), and from the Annex you can walk easily into Shepton Mallet.
