They cancelled my booking, yelled at me that i had no booking, demanded payment for the room they had cancelled, and then blocked the elevator and refused to let me leave. In my home country that is very very illegal. It's a budget hotel, so don't expect much, but it does have good value. If you're looking to stay very close to the Huaqiang electronics market on the cheap, this is very good option. WARNING: at the time of writing this review, google maps has this location (and everything else in the area) a couple blocks north west. The actual location of this hotel just south of the SEG tower, on the south-east corner of the intersection of Huaqiang N/S Rd and Shennan Middle Rd. Booked this through Travelocity because it was super cheap, non-smoking and very close to a metro stop. The room is very small and the shower, sink and toilet are combined into a single small room. Also, the bed is very hard. But... it is non-smoking and no(t too many) funny smells. ...and super cheap! For a last minute basic place to sleep on the cheap I recommend it. Word of warning... the reception desk is on the 3rd floor. If you go to the 8th floor reception it is a different hotel and they were VERY rude. The reception ladies at the Jai Relax were very nice, friendly and spoke English.
