The house is spotless, the grounds are well kept and the hosts are A+++. The views are incredible from every room in the house. The house was spotless, with fresh flowers left for us by the host. There is none of the normal stress of going into a new place and trying to get acclimated, everything is labeled and we settled in immediately. The pictures and description of the property in the listing are great and the reality is even better. We have stayed at vacation rentals all over the US (New York, Southern California, Delaware beaches, etc) and Europe and this has got to be one of the nicest, most comfortable homes where we have ever stayed. The layout of the house is fantastic, with living and sleeping spaces both downstairs and upstairs. The water views are gorgeous. The location is great; in one 5 day/4 night vacation we were able to spend plenty of time in the house on the property as well as visit Riverhead (outlet shopping), Montauk, the North Fork, and Southampton/Sag Harbor. The ferry is a breeze. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was luxurious, and the house was prepared for our arrival with candles and the fireplace blazing. The host was also incredibly accommodating and kind and kept us informed on all house instructions and everything we needed to know. They even went out and rented bikes on our behalf. The property is advertised, clean, spacious for a family with several children and offers an ideal quiet location, with serene views of the bay and plenty of ground space for children to run around.
