Marie Eiffel's market & cafe has a delicious menu. Commander Cody's Restaurant was open and is a must for seafood and fried chicken. Shelter Island is close to Greenport by ferry, where there are quaint shops, small movie theatre, and great restaurants. Sag Harbor is also close via ferry. Be sure to visit The Kite Shop for fun gifts and kites. There are more restaurants and assorted shops. ##### Sarah ### 2/10 Terrible #### Todd Sep 7, 2023 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities Even for Labor Day weekend, this was way over-priced at a total of $467 per night -- a small room with hardly space for the bed, and none of the ordinary amenities like TV and Wi-Fi (apparently in all four rooms) and breakfast consisting of DIY coffee. Making contact with the owner to check in was mostly for his convenience since we had to agree ahead of time to be there when he was. Returning after our first day we found the room had not been made up and were told he had "forgotten" to tell us we needed to request it since it had been made optional with (long past) Covid.
