From Shelter Cove you can hike the Lost Coast and venture into the vastness of the King Range Conservation Area, whether it be a day or a week. Fish, spend time investigating tidepools or stroll on nearby Black Sands Beach. The natural beauty and mild climate of Shelter Cove make it a wonderful place to visit year round. One of the Most Under Used Fishing Spots in California is Shelter Cove! With Some of the Best Variety of Fishing; Albacore, Halibut, Salmon, Rockcod, Lingcod, Crab and more!!! With a View and Beaches like no other. You get the whole lower unit close to 1000 square feet of living space, with a full bath, full kitchen, living area with majestic views of the ocean over the fir trees, and two bedrooms. Plenty of room for up to 6 people. This is a 420 friendly vacation rental but we ask that you please smoke outside. Place was so charming, it was a welcomed surprise. The views throughout the house were incredible. At night, we could see all the stars. We even saw the Olympics on a huge tv. Restaurants within 5 or less minutes. The place even has a washer/drier, and air conditioning throughout the place! So even when it was hot outside, we could walk barefoot on the cool spanish tiles.. There is a Marijuana grow on the property. It stinks of pot throughout the unit. There are stains in the carpets. The couches had stains. The tile floor is crumbling. The owners were nice enough. They live above the unit and have a large dog whom you can hear above you. The picture posted of the view is the only nice thing about the place. Unfortunately there is no sliding door/ direct access to get to it. You have go out front and walk around the house to get to it. There was a mouse chewing in the walls that kept me up all night. When I visit the ocean, I want to smell the ocean air, not a pot grow. ##### TAMARA L.
