Lots of extras. Plenty of dishes so you didn't have to wash after each meal. Really, really enjoyed the patios. Yes, plural there were 4\. Great for morning coffee and evening wine--looking at the stars. Loved being able to park my car in a garage. Kitchen very well equipped so you can cook in which is good because not a lot of places to eat in Shelter Cove. The only downside to property is for older people there are lot of stairs but good handrails and the drive up from Garberville is very long, slow and winding (reason for the 4 on location). If you’re looking for something remote, then this is your place. However, we were heading down the west coast and the only way to get here is across a winding narrow mountain pass road that is about an hour off the 101\. The house is spacious and gave us a chance to spread out to do our own thing. Even on a rainy day, we enjoyed just hanging out and relaxing. (Note: it can sleep 6 comfortably. One bedroom with a king; and another with 2 queen beds. ) The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has enough dishes to actually run a full load of dishes. The house is up the hill from the coastline (but not too far). A great view of the Pacific from the decks off the living room and bedroom. The neighborhood is quiet. Communication with owner was prompt and helpful (when needed). Black sands beach is very close and offers some great walks and views. The local market is small but it has the essentials if needed.
