« We spent a week at Tennisplace on Sanibel. The location is first driveway as you come onto the Island so we didn't have to deal with lines of traffic as we came & went from Island. It shares a driveway with the boat launch and a small park. We took our books & beach chairs to the Park & watched boat traffic coming & going...We walked to Lighthouse Cafe one morning for breakfast (about 15 minute walk) The Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce is almost directly across the road so we visited...

« We had a wonderful time! The only true hiccup was no ice when we arrived. After driving for 3 days and arriving at 5:30, we were ready to relax with a cocktail. Knowing the island I knew where to go and get ice so not so bad! We enjoyed the house so much and our dog was in heaven to have so much open space!! Loved the deck in the evenings! The kitchen was fabulous and sitting at the window for meals was perfect! Close to the beach was a plus! Although relaxing by the pool was very nice too....
