We had some trouble finding the door at night because of the lack of outside lighting. The kitchen lacked baking sheets and other cookware. The beds were a little uncomfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen could have used more cleaning attention. The basement smelled a little moldy, but that is expected on a river. Overall, we enjoyed the layout and the books! The porch overlooking the river was great for morning coffee and evening games. We also appreciated the swing. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the storms. Playing with my grandchildren in the house. The property was so peaceful and relaxing. The dryer broke when we first got there and the owner had it replaced the next day! Excellent communication! We are hoping to come stay again during the summer so we can enjoy actually the river.(We stayed in end of march beginning of April, which as my son said is rainy system for them.) but 3 of the people we had with us did use the kayaks and had fun, to me it was too cold. When you walk in there is a map with tags for you to put where you are from. That was awesome to see and add to!!
