Three levels with bedrooms and baths on each level, comfortable furnishings, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, "the mill" is well equipped for your getaway enjoyment. A picnic table and gas grill are provided to make that outdoor get together special. The house sits on 2 plus acre grounds alongside a year round stream just 2 miles from the Village of Shelburne Falls. Buckland Recreation Area with free playground and new outdoor swimming pool (pool fee) is just across the way. This centralized home base lets visitors enjoy the Western Massachusetts area and Interstate 91 is a handy10 miles away. Sight see the many area attractions or simply relax with family and friends. There were 5 of us adults over 70\. The accommodations were perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It would be an easy place to stay a week. Probably the best equipped home I’ve ever stayed in. There is a lovely enclosed porch next to a babbling creek. The yard is spacious. We ultimately realized that the pool that is mentioned is not on property but across the road at a recreation center. My husband and I stayed with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and this place was perfect. Three floors, each with its own bedroom, bath, and sitting areas worked great to give us all privacy and space. The pool across the street at the Buckland Rec area was perfect for our six great nieces and nephew. The only downside was we did get a lot of rain the week we were there and the basement room where my husband and I stayed got a little musty with a mildew smell in the evenings. The sound of the creek is fabulous. Having 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms is very helpful with our family. Our youngest is at Smith College so this works beautifully for us. The location is wonderful, there are things to do in all directions. Shelburne Falls is a very nice little town nearby. Communication with the host is very good. From start to finish it was seamless. We loved that the house was historic and the renovation was amazing!! The moment we walked inside we were at home. Some amenities, like the portacrib available, weren’t even listed. The owners thought of everything. Communication with the owner was excellent. The house itself is wonderfully decorated, stocked with everything you could possibly need and comfortable. Our family used all three levels and everyone loved the privacy it allowed when needed. Having a bathroom on each level was such a huge advantage since we were all there for a family wedding down the road. Location was excellent. Close to many things but also secluded enough with enjoyable views. Sitting on the screen porch listening to the babbling Brook was a real treat. It was so relaxing to know the childproof gates were available since my grand children were there. That was a real Plus. Great stay! Great owners! Great deal! I would Not hesitate to stay here again!
