When you're done dining, walk along the water-side trail or utilize the boat dock and nearby public boat ramp to get out on the water. A break from the sun can be found inside the home's open-concept interior. Adorned with rustic mementos and comfortable furnishings unwind and enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace as you tune into your favorite TV show or movie. When you aren't cooking outside, the full kitchen boasts a full suite of stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a breakfast bar. Beautifully appointed, the home's bedrooms offer private TVs, high-quality linens, and ample storage space. The perks extend to a private washer/dryer, a board game collection, and internet access. Away from your stay, enjoy exploring Chuck Swan State Forest, the Woodlake Golf, Lodge, and Steakhouse, or Buffalo Springs Waterfall. Everything was absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. The inside of the house is stunning, comfortable, and well stocked with everything needed to enjoy time with family and friends. The outside is even more spectacular —- that you can enjoy all the time thanks to the floor to ceiling windows/doors! Beautiful setting, close to the water (the water was very low when we visited) that included plenty of comfortable seating, string lights for night time enjoyment, etc. I would recommend that future visitors bring a load of groceries with them (including spices) since the drive to Maynardville is about 25-30 minutes. Kitchen was well stocked-minus a wine bottle opener but we made it work:) There isn’t a dishwasher but no big deal for us. Extra fridge on the back porch was great to have. Plenty of nice bath towels. Beautiful property with great views. So nice to have a dock to hang out on and we also rented a boat for a couple of days so it was super convenient to dock there. Loved the fire pit too and appreciate having plenty of firewood. One suggestion would be to have kayaks/paddle boards there to use(or option to rent).
