We simply loved Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort at Sharm El Sheikh's accomodation. It was simply the VERY BEST accomodation my family and I have ever had. It felt like being home with all that wonderful space & the beautiful furniture. AND it was clean!!!! We had adjoining rooms (though we had to downgrade the kids room to make this happen) The pools & the grounds were beautifully maintained at all times. Breakfast was divine & the staff great. Thank you thank you thank you.

Can't be 5 stars. price is v. high 4 such bad serv
No Wi-Fi in rooms. All inclusive rate does not include fresh juice or even water. Hotel rooms are not properly insulated and do not come with even slippers. Food is disastrous whether in terms of quality, variety or presentation. Hotel staff are frustrated and disappointed so cannot blame them much. Worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I paid 170 usd per night for 4 nights and could only eat the hotel once. Worse hotel in Egypt.

I was forcibly checked out although I had requested for a late check out 3 days before my check out date. They had agreed to the late check out and informed me I'll pay $25 for that which I also agreed. But I was coerced to check out by a supervisor or manager because they said the room was not available, a decision I was only told at the time of check out. I felt unfairly treated and disrespected. They need to improve their level of customer service.

Cockroaches were found in my first room and then again in the new room I was moved to. I went to go to sleep and I saw a cockroach crawling on my pillow and then another one next to my bed.

Attending Miss Eco international pageants contest
The rooms are quite big but cleanliness is terrible. There was cockroach and other insects in the room everyday. Attached are the photos I took. When we asked for compensation on the first day, we did not get any reply from Management. It's only when we insisted on the second day that we got a free dinner. Management should be more cooperative.

Not a 5 star more like a 3 star
Hotel grounds are lovely and staff are friendly but rooms severely need updating! First room we were put in had dead ants in the bathtub and smelled mouldy! Second room we were moved to was better but had a rip in the mattress and soiled under sheets! Was an all-inclusive package but the food was very bland, no variety and practically the same menu daily. Very close to the airport. No way a 5 star hotel more like a 3 star. Great pool, friendly staff and landscaped gardens made up for everything else otherwise I would have rated it a 2 star! Basically you get what you pay for!

Very nice hotel for family
Good food, friendly stuff, shuttle every 30 min to a private beach (a 5-min ride). Nice pool and reasonable entertainment. The only thing i noticed that needs improvement are the pool towels; mostly very old and torn. They are clean though. Shuttle to Nema Bay at night but usually full. Both Nema Bay and Savoy platform are a less than 5 minutes ride.

The room is very comfortable , wide and clean The food taste is good but not varied the breakfast was the same ..... the all inclusive not good as every meal has restrictions so I prefer the h.b or b.b ..the desserts havenot a good taste ... The beach is excellent for snorkeling but not suitable for children or those who cannot swim The service is very high and the stuff were very helpful polite

This was my third visit to Peninsula. As usual.. fantastic. I coach pro tennis players competing in the many pro tournaments nearby. I am beyond happy with Peninsula. The beds, the rooms, the food... fantastic. The staff wants to serve. There is no problem they won't fix. I highly recommend.

Good hotel for the price and a great beach area
The hotel is good value for money. The pool and beach area are great, particularly if you like snorkelling. The rooms are nice and spacious and quite a lot is included in the all-inclusive package. It is slightly outside of the busy Naama Bay area, while still being very accessible. Staff were good on the hole, but the food in the main dining hall isn't fantastic so we ate out a couple of times and used the Thai restaurant at the hotel, which was a big step up. It was very easy to book excursions such as scuba diving through the hotel as well.

We Returned to this hotel as we loved it so much last time 2 years ago. It has slightly gone down hill since then on the food front and some areas of the pool that have been damaged and not fixed. To their credit they did start fixing some areas when we were there and cordoned off the Jacuzzi Area Rooms are Huge & clean. House keeping is fantastic and ALWAYS given clean towels. Air Conditioning in the rooms are fantastic. In Room bottled water policy has changed since last visit. Used to be free and replenished by house keeping everyday. Now they only give you the first bottle free and charge every other day if you use it. They expect you to refill the first bottle you used through out your holiday at a water vending machine before you go bed. They have become tighter with the ALL INCLUSIVE option. Its still great, you get local alcohol soft drinks tea and coffee. However no free ice-cream. Only for kids between 3pm-5pm. It should be made available all day for everyone. There used to be burgers and pizzas during the day at the Pool Bar but now they only do pancakes... again cutting costs. Most the foods they do are repetitive and a lot of processed food. This I would assume would be to cut costs. All juices from concentrate. Great selection of desserts though, especially if you like Carb City. No Gluten Free Options. Mobility impaired People will struggle to use the BEACH facilities where there are a lot of steep stairs that goes down to a man made beach on the a Jetti.

Spectacular pool and grounds, lovely hotel.
Spectacular pool and grounds. We were upgraded to a huge room on arrival. The hotel is literally 5 mins drive from airport and based in the middle between Naama Bay and Sharks Bay. A visit to 'soho square' is a must as it's lovely and you don't get any hassle from the shopkeepers. There is a pharmacy, Drs clinic, sp, great gym and three small shops in the resort although the shops do not sell any kind of drinks as the hotel wants to you buy drinks on site if you are not all inclusive. Due to hubbie going scuba diving everyday, we were b&b and had the charges for drinks were ridiculous being more than 500% in price than the shops. There is a lovely area for children to play in including indoor activities. Although the hotel do offer a free bus to Naama bay, I can imagine in peak season it will be hard to get on the bus so you will have to pay for a taxi. The hotel offer fixed price taxis that are very reasonable. The hotel is not one block of rooms but several sets of bungalows. We did pay for dinner in the buffet which we thought was overpriced and ran out of food quite quickly. The room was cleaned every day and bedding changed every two days. Although the decoration was a bit tired and could do with an update the room had plasma TV and mini fridge with welcome bottle of water on arrival. There was also tea/coffee facilities in room. The animation team offered water polo and water aerobics every day and evening entertainment for the children. A relaxing stay for us.

Mistakenly booked a private transfer on line from Airport to hotel without researching distance and was ripped off, paying three times the normal taxi fare and in the journey from the airport was picked up by a small Kia that could not fit our meagre luggage in the boot of the vehicle. Hotel clean and room spacious, staff helpful and friendly. If you have no small local currency for tipping upon arrival pound coins are readily accepted. Paid for all inclusive and found that food was not particularly good, meat normally over cooked and a bit samey. Decent assortment of deserts, dominated by coconut ingredients. Local beer not very good. Entertainment each evening was so so. Please note that although Internet facilities are in all rooms, if you need WI Fi, this can only be accessed in the Reception of the Hotel so if your accommodation is some way away from the reception area you have a fair walk to use I Pads, I Phones etc. Some guests were complaining of having several bites by bugs, fortunately we were not bothered (probably tough old meat). As a golfer I took the opportunity of playing three rounds package of golf at the sister hotel course, approx 500 yards walk away and paid £210.00 which included buggy (I took my own clubs so that did not include club hire). All in all a reasonable week, saved by the superb weather.

Generally a good experience apart from last day!
We had a great holiday, the hotel and staff were great in general. We just had a bad experience on the last day which left us feeling very disappointed. We arrived on a Saturday, very late on so by the time we got there with children in tow it was time for bed. Our flight home the following Saturday was late too but we had to check out at 12 and they cut our all inclusive wrist bands off. They allowed us to have lunch but when we tried to eat in the evening we were refused and told we had to pay quite a lot if we wanted to eat. This was not a cheap holiday and we only ate an evening meal on 6 nights. They wouldn't listen to this however so we had to leave hungry, with very grumpy hungry children.

Bathtub had dead ants and mold around tub. After asking house cleaning staff to clean it they indicated it is normal. they did clean it. Breakfast was ok. Items which should have been hot were cold or lukewarm. When asked for BUTTER was given margarine and was told it is same by chef [?] The night before we left the door key stopped working. hotel had to change the cylinder while we were ready to go to sleep.

Our hotel experience was amazing.
The hotel has great staff, good size rooms wonderful amenities intercontinental breakfast. Shuttle bus to beach, several on site restaurant, the resort is massive. The location is great with quick shuttle ride away from nama bay

Rooms we had were big - we had 2 adjoining rooms one with twin beds and one with king size; both rooms clean and big with good size bathrooms. Got a free bottle of water which people refill throughout hotel i.e.no need to buy more. Most apartments are one floor.Swimming pool area big, no shortage of space. Next to sister hotel which has a coral beach and there is a shuttle service every hour. Really worth a visit and saw more and better fish than when we wend to scuba diving! Tried the Buffet restaurant and the Italian and both were good and not much more expensive than what you would get at Nama Bay. Tried the massage and the saloon (ask for Mohammad) & both were excellent with good staff/service. You do not feel pressured to give tips at all but we gave some on our last day. Booked our tours via Tez and we were very pleased with Rami who organised the quad bikes and scuba diving for us (plus free trips to Plant Oil shop, Egyptian cotton shop and Soho Sq)

The hotel is close to the airport, has an awesome pool, really good restaurants, was not crowded, has really big rooms, kid activities, free wi-fi in the lobby, great pillows.... I wish I had more time to spend here. It was the nicest place I stayed by far in Egypt and not expensive. Great value!

I stayed in room 4901 which was extraordinary
I was shocked by the spacious room for the value. It was clean, comfortable, and best of all, peaceful. No foot traffic passing my room. The pool was also spacious, plenty of chairs from which to choose. The Thai restaurant was some of the best Thai food that I have had, not only in Egypt. The staff was very pleasant, however the animation team was slightly annoying. I don't feel the need to engage in those activities while I'm on holiday. Room service was always efficient and nice. The taxi desk was also efficient and I appreciated the fair pricing and listing at the desk.

Terrible customer services from the hotel staff
we had a horrible expereince with this hotel/resort. The staff were rude to us, they ignored us in the restaurant when it came to ordering drinks, the reception staff were very rude, they were unhelpful when it came taxi return to airport (the taxi desk man disappeared), there were a lot of mosquitos and flies in the hotel (possibly whole of sharm so can be excused), the chef didnt know what green chillies were, generally a very lack of English language from the staff including the receptionists (which is a key componant of welcoming guests). However there were 2 members of staff who were great, they are Mohammed (the shisha guy) and Adam Mohammed (the perfume guy in the hotel shop). We do not recommend any one to go to this hotel again, very unsatisfied with our expeirence.

this hotel looks nothing like the photos of the bedrooms on your website. I think we should have been at your sister hotel. This is very misleading. all the rugs in the room were filthy dirty and I had to roll them up as I was afraid to put my feet on them.We asked to move but the rugs were just as bad.

First impressions last!!! We arrived at 6pm to check in and even though everything was booked and paid for( 3 large rooms interconnecting) , nothing was ready! We spent 45 minutes sorting it out and this is after a 5 hr flight with easy jet!!!! Anyway finally we do sort it and end up with rooms that were too far away from each other. To add insult to injury we were told that no one was around to show us to our rooms!!Pathetic ! We had to find them in the dark,, and it got worse. Air con did not work in one of the rooms and they had no 2 point adapters to charge our phones with. It took 5 days for them to arrive! The all inclusive food/drink was bland cheap and nasty. Never again!!!!

Great size rooms. Lovely pool. Clean facilities.
Only one bottle of water supplied upon arrival. No dressing gowns in rooms as stated. Wine only available with meals and bar closed at midnight. Food was often cold. However the rooms were huge abs well equipped and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The annimation team in particular made our holiday as did jasmine in the spa. It felt as if the hotel were Making cut backs. If the catering improved we would visit the hotel again.
