My colleague and I stayed here for a week for work. The service is extraordinary and their check-out policies are the fairest I have experienced. I'm not a breakfast eater but did go for one day and it's a great spread. The rooms are comfortable and the shower is wonderful. My only complaint is that they turn off the air conditioners so you cannot cool down the room, My room was between 25 and 27 degrees celsius, making it a bit of a challenge for sleeping. The gym is well equipped with good machines and they have an active yoga studio with lots of options as well.

Great location in a very walkable part of Jinqiao Pudong Shanghai. Big room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is a bit older and the design reflects this especially in the bathroom which is not well laid out and has no handheld shower spray. The place is very clean. The soap, towels, and other things are nice. The breakfast is good with a decent selection though it could use more dim sum items.

Good location for getting to Concordia international school shanghai. Views from upper floors are great. The apartments are good. We did notice that floor tiles in the bathroom did lack grout.

My experience at the Ramada Plaza Pudong
We had a great time. Ramada is a very clean place and the staff are were awesome. Sadly I made the reservation at a business center and Neither Ramada nor Hotels.com would change my location without a cost

Great room with a nice view. Super clean and great service. When I needed a taxi, the bellman simply went out to the main road to grab one. Breakfast was good with made to order omelettes and many other choices including Indian food. Be sure to have the fresh won-ton soup.

I have stayed here many times over 4/5 year time. Hotel needs serious renovations of its rooms. Most carpets need replacing all over. Wireless not in every room, still Ethernet cable. Bar area, small and not modernized.

THere was no WiFI in the rooms. THe rooms were a good size. However the room could use a makeover (ie New Carpet). The business center was helpful 1 out of 3 times.

great location for the exhibition visitors
We had a nice time here. The exhibition centre in pudong is near and in taxi you will pay around 29 to 30 RMB and it is quiet convenient. Metro is also nearby to take a taxi and then go inside the city centre conveniently by changing the metro lines.

Economical choice for east Shanghai
The hotel is good if you need to be in this part of town but it is a long way from the city centre for business or tourism. The area has many expats so is quite easy for a non Chinese speaker. The hotel is a bit old and the gym is minimal and the pool is rather small.

The hotel was 5 star and the staff were more than helpful, Buffet breakfast was a little on the expensive side though but could purchase some bakery items at the cafe for a reasonable price. The room service breakfast menu was a lot cheaper. The hotel position was great as there were many eateries nearby. The room would have been great if there had been a small table on which to put our breakfast/drinks on. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and the staff were exceptional re courtesy and helpfullness/promtness on any of our requests.

During my time in Shanghai, I stayed in 3 hotels. This was by far my least favorite. The other two just had something I can't put my finger on that made them more home-like and less hotel feeling. Also, the hotel is not close to the metro. If you want to take the subway (which is really the most convenient way to travel around the city), you have to walk a good distance. People at the hotel told me it wasn't even walkable (it is).

The hotel was overbooked by the report back from Hotels.com. This Ramada facility has an apartment wing, which actually is the most upper floors of the building. We were housed in this area of the hotel. These were apartment setups, with up to 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the larger suite. Large kitchen area completely set up for living. Massage facility was adequate, bar area was nice....only thing that was out of reason was the breakfast buffet....everything you could want and more....however, this was overpriced.

Great location and good room condition but the Internet was down the whole day and the hotel folks couldn't fix it .. Plus there is no wifi in the room so we were forced to go to the lobby only to find out that wifi was also very very slow.. Rest the hotel was good..

My husband & I stayed here for 5 days for both business and fun. The hotel is in a great spot with some fantastic western and chinese restaurants close by if you don't want to eat in the hotel and Carrefour is about a 15 minute walk away. The staff were extremely helpful in every aspect, most spoke some basic English and there was also a few western staff on the front desk. Fabulous shower in a good bathroom, and the general size of the room and amenities in it was great. There is no wi-fi in the room, but if you go to the Business Centre, you can get a wireless router to connect to the fixed ADSL line in the room - all they ask is a 100RMB deposit which you get back when you return the router at the time of checkout. We caught the Maglev from the airport to Pudong and then a taxi to the hotel - which took approximately 15 minutes. A very easy and convenient way to get to and from the airport. We went across to the Bund during our stay and the taxi cost around 75 RMB - getting back to Pudong was easy with a 2RMB ferry trip. The in house Day Spa and Hairdresser were excellent value and offered an impressive range of services. The gym could do with a few more tv screens, but was well equipped. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a well located hotel -

Ramada Plaza - great choice when in Pudong
This was my second trip to Pudong in Shanghai and on the first trip, a local counterpart introduced me to the Jin Qiao area, so I knew I had to stay there during my second trip and the Ramada Plaza Pudong was a great choice. The hotel is situated just diagonally opposite some very good restaurants (Flying Fox Gastro pub, Las Tapas Spanish restaurant and Big Bamboo sports bar amongst others) and surrounded by convenience stores as well as massage parlours (clean ones). I got "upgraded" to a service apartment, which was clean and comfortable. The bathtub was huge and was a great way to relax after a stressful day. If I had to travel to Pudong, Shanghai again, this would be my only destination.

Ramada Plaza Pudong
I was generally happy with the hotel, friendly staff, good quality cuisine. My room was a 'Queen sized Bed' and the only real complaint was the miniscule proportions of the wardrobe, this was a very small triangular size and barely large enough for three items - certainly not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Otherwise a good hotel in a very convenient location.

The physical condition of the hotel was mostly fine (like large parts of newly built China) but the service was generally lousy everywhere. We only had breakfast at the hotel - the food was ok'ish but the service there was particularly lousy. Pudong is suburbia - you need to take a cab to get anywhere. The metro is too far away to walk. There are some restaurants not too far away. I was upgraded to a suite when I checked in which seemed cool. Even though it wasn't a non-smoking room, there appeared to be no smell when we checked in but starting the next day we started to get extremely strong cigarette smoke smell into the room. It was almost like they had a ventilation system which mixed the air in all the rooms so if anyone is smoking in a room close by, we smelled it. Quite awful so we had to get a different room (not a suite unfortunately). All in all, it is highly overrated as a 4-star.

Pleasant surprise
This hotel is in Pudong about 120 - 130 RMB one way from the airport. It's very new and the rooms are very clean and pretty spacious. The service is great and best of all it's clean. I would stay at this hotel again. The price is great. This hotel is in an area close to SGM. So if you're in Shanghai on automotive business it's a good location.
