Cafe and breakfast has few choice at night. Some details in room could be better such as iron and board, frame of toilet door. However, overall is very good, staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. Location is really good.

Clean & quiet room, friendly staff, excellent location. I love the gym. Weather was too cold and the outdoor pool was closed but it looked nice. The bathtub is quite weird, they installed a swinging glass door on the side of the tub but that actually cannot stop water from spilling out. Also, there is not electrical outlet for the hair dryer in the bathroom so you have to style your hair outside of the bathroom without a mirror...

Overall a very nice up scale hotel. The problem I had was the toilet location in the bathroom, there was very little leg room, it was very hard to stand up, Im 6 foot 1, my wife at 5 foot 5 also found it difficult. I know it would be hard to fix this but just a suggestion. Other than this, the room is very nice, the food was good, the staff very friendly, gym was surprisingly good (its good enough for a ok workout, only one squat rack, one bech, and dumbell only goes up to 50lbs).

It locates on Line 2 of the subway system hence it is very very convenient. Rooms are large the tidy, suitable for most travelers no matter on business trip or vacation. Breakfast is very good. Good food quality and enough variety. Staff are most helpful. Hospitality par excellence. The Chinese dining hall 'Yue' is also splendid. I would say it fulfills my expectation of an enjoyable stay in Shanghai

The room is pretty modern, close to tons of good food and famous yuyuan road, steps away from subway station , pool is clean and gym is new, love the view, everything is perfect, except the check in / check out, the stuffs are helpful and nice but they are clearly under staffed, there are so many airline attendants groups checking in/out everyday, if you happen to line up after them ... it will be a long wait

Fantastic stay, highly recommend
A very good hotel, probably one of the best I have stayed at (but I don't go for expensive hotels). Great location just outside of exit 5 of Zhongshan Park metro station on Line 2 (one of the main lines, just 4 stations away from People's Square and 5 stations from Nanjing East Road), with several shopping malls nearby (about 3 to 4?) as well as cheaper (and tasty) food options along Dingxi road. Room had pretty good decor and was overly spacious for just 1 person (I believe the smallest room is a 2 person room). Amenities in the room: beds, desk and chair, sofa, TV, alarm clock, wardrobe with hangars, kettle and glasses, mini fridge, safe, bathroom. Hopefully the pictures I've uploaded show up. Things to take note: I had to pay RMB 300 per night upfront as a deposit fee, which was refunded to me upon checkout - that kind of caught me by surprise. The floor in the bathroom can be slippery when wet, so do get yourself a pair of anti slip slippers. The keycard is kind of buggy - you might have to try several times before you can access the room.

酒店所处位置优越，交通十分便利，地下通道直达2号线地铁站，地下通道内还有许多餐厅和商店。路面上也有许多公交巴士和大型购物中心。酒店的服务很到位，入住的房间正好可以俯视游泳池和中山公园。入住期间去外地旅游，行李存放在酒店几天，一切完好无损。酒店露天游泳池也不错，25米长，更衣室里有桑拿和湿蒸一应俱全，感觉最好的是热水按摩池，游完泳有点冷，跳进热水按摩池非常舒服。下次巴黎春天酒店是首先。

The restaurant, for breakfast may be OK but for dinner is a waste of time and money, drunk people, kids running around, food so very limited and quality no good.

New World Shanghai is my favourite place to stay in Shanghai. The rooms are large and clean, but what separates this hotel from others is the staff. Everyone on staff is extremely helpful and friendly and work very hard to ensure that your stay is as nice as possible.
