Just there aren't much around. I've attended a big exhibition at NECC and the hotel was relatively close, not exactly a walking distance, but just a few minutes on taxi. Down side is that there aren't much shops or restaurants in or near the building. There is one convenient store that opens until midnight, though. Rooms are pretty spacious and modern.
