Very good hotel. It located in very good location, luxury hotel with top design, best view, best bedding, bathroom and best service. We love this Jian Shanghai-La Shanghai.

We had our room upgraded. Absolutely amazing view! And it actually saved us a trip to Shanghai Tower.

Great area to stay in. The hotel is not new, but the room was quite confortable, very nice staff.

A used condom packaging was on the table, cleanliness is an issue. Despite night shift manager switched the room and compensate with free breakfast, but would not want to stay here again.

Bad experience at shangri la Jing’an
The whole check in experience is terrible, not a fair queue and everybody try to cut short, and no one can maintain the rule. Bad experience happens again when I check out. Surprisingly they didn’t refund me the balance. That’s quite shocking.

I was great experience to stay at the hotel.
Especially, I wanted to thanks to people (including Tracey) at the concierge desk. Their service were so professional and careful.
I will stay at the hotel when I visit Shanghai next year.
Quick and Courteous check in. I was sold a great priced upgrade at check in. It gave me a lovely room with more space and access to the club upstairs. Really made the difference on my last night of an exhausting work trip!
The property had a great gym, great restaurants--the breakfast buffet was a great value even if not included with the room. Most staff were functional in English and those who were not, we were able to use translation software to communicate.
I just wish they had an airport shuttle.
I put in a special request for twin beds when I booked - this was ignored. When I asked again at check in, I was only informed then that I had to top up. However, the staff were pleasant and friendly.
The location is good for business trips. I found it hard to find local flavors in the immediate neighborhood. The hotel is nice and clean and quiet, but if you don't wander further, you cannot tell it is in Shanghai.

The hotel is located centrally in the Jing An district, a stone throw away from the French Concession, Jing An Temple and the famous Nanjing West Road for shopping. In addition, we sits on a network of public transportation, including Metro Lines 2 and 7. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon.
