The fully enclosed, large garden is ideal for dogs and children, with beautiful views from every angle. Lovely to see horses and cows so close. Jon is an excellent and very friendly host. We were looked after very well, whilst left in privacy as a family. The King size bed was very comfortable and the other room had 2 single beds in, plus the lounge has a double sofa bed, so you could potentially have 6 people here. Our little dog loved the freedom of the garden and instantly made herself at home inside the lodge. The kitchen is well equipped and Jon went out of his way to help, if there were any additional issues or requests. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge to families, couples, or anyone who wishes to get away from it all in beautiful countryside. It was overpriced for a caravan with cladding on especially after looking at other properties in the area. I tried to contact the owners as we did not receive any instructions of how to book in. We arrived at the property and tried ringing only to be cut off. I eventually went and found the property and the keys hanging up so let ourselves in. We saw the owner a few hours later who informed us they had just come back from holiday, this was not communicated to us.
