The location is perfect. We went into Seward every day. Seward is a little crowded and touristy so it was nice to come back to this cottage and stay in the beautiful nature of Alaska. Cooper's Landing is an even shorter drive than Seward and also a great little town to see. Plenty of little hikes all over and Kenai Fjords has a beautiful hike up to Harding Icefields. The ultimate highlight was watching a bill moose walk down the river one morning! Amazing!! My son also caught trout from the river that he cooked over the fire pit, which was awesome! The cabin is more rustic which we were aware of. Knowing about the lack of stove/oven did help us prepare ahead of time, but it does limit you somewhat. Overall, we had a great stay.
