Lived the huge open cooking area, grilling on the deck, enjoying the hot tub and the jacuzzi/pool in our bedroom, we could make it hot or make it cold like a pool. Hiked around the cabin. First I want to emphasize the beautiful view this cabin has of the mountains and the hot tub on the back deck is perfect after a day of hikes/exploring. The place is clean, stocked with all kitchen supplies to make home cooked meals and the bed is very comfy. Coming from Florida where we drive on flat roads everywhere, the road up the mountain to this cabin was a little (very) scary. We went in October and drove a truck so it was definitely an experience. I would just recommend driving a 4wheel drive vehicle especially if you’re going during winter months. All in all 10/10 and would definitely rent this place again. My new husband and I loved sitting on the porch with a glass of wine or soaking in the hot tub after a long day of exploring the Smokies. The drive up is nerve-wracking coming from someone with limited mountain experience and I wish we’d known ahead of time to bring laundry detergent; minor inconveniences for how impeccable this property is! Clean & was decorated for Christmas. Very cozy. Road getting up to the cabin is a little tricky because is very narrow but just try to travel in daylight. There was a bad snow storm that was unexpected. Lost electricity but the cabin has a gas fireplace that kept the cabin plenty warm. There is also a nice gas grill.
