We can occasionally allow for early check-in and will let you know if cabin is ready prior to 4pm. \- Cabin is on a well, but has a top-of-the line filtration system for all water coming into the home. \- Aluminum foil, condiments, zip locks, and charcoal are NOT provided. \- NO FIRES inside or out. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages \- Although we RARELY see bears, there is a super friendly neighborhood dog who may stop by and greet you to ensure your having a 5-star stay. He is a very sweet boy, but if you have a fear a dogs this may not be the best fit for you. \-This cabin is in the mountains so cell service may be spotty. \-There may be some twisty roads. \-This cabin is in the forests/mountains, so you may see bugs or critters. We do our best to maintain the cabin with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, if doors are left open, or if food is left outside, this can attract critters. We had a wonderful week at the lovely little Leona's cabin retreat especially enjoying the solitude, the pond housing the talkative frogs, the quaint nature of the cabin, as well as the gorgeous views and scenery. We also very much appreciated the responsiveness to our messages - communication was top notch. My wife and I got matured in the Smoky Mountains the middle of this stay and loved returning to the cabin to enjoy our first days together as husband and wife. Thank you!! ##### Todd A. Incline way to steep to go under deck to try and fish. So hopefully next year it would be alot more fishing friendly..otherwise great and relaxing stay ##### Charles T. It was far enough away to be secluded but close enough to be on the strip in 15 min. If you like traveling the back roads like I do, it's perfect. Very relaxing cabin with everything we needed. A very quiet neighborhood, with just the chirping birds and the peepers to keep you company. Clean and well equipped. Great communication from the host. Great place to relax after a busy day exploring the National Park, or exploring the area. ##### John S. We wanted small as it’s just two parents and two small children. It’s slightly tucked away off the main roads. The cabin was cute and just enough space. The pond is a wonderful feature and kept my kids busy for hours. Just a couple of miles from the parkway so we could take backroads wherever we wanted to go and stay away from all the parkway traffic. Cabin has everything you need in the kitchen to cook or grill. It was nice having good cookware. I had noticed in other reviews dogs barking and gas running out. neither of those were an issue. The bed is really high and the stairs are not for someone with bad knees. Besides that, Place is great and host is super responsive and helpful.
