We are very near Great Smoky Mountains National Park: ・Bears, bobcats, coyotes, wild turkeys, bats, snakes, scorpions, lizards, and other wildlife are found throughout the region. Heed the warnings and \*NEVER\* approach any wild animal. ・You may encounter insects or small critters in or around the cabin. We get a wide variety here in the woods. While on a comprehensive pest control regimen, Lady Bugs & Asian Beetles are a common issue. They are generally considered "beneficial species". ⏤ PARKING & ROAD CONDITIONS ⏤ The cabin is located off a private gravel road, some consider to be steep/narrow in places. We don’t own, control, or maintain the road. It’s usually accessible. Rain and snow can affect its condition. We recommend AWD/4WD vehicles and taking it slow. Low-clearance vehicles and motorcycles will find it challenging and are strongly not recommended. Smoky Mountain roads can be bumpy and winding with obstacles like fallen branches. Snow is rare but may take time to clear due to limited snow-removal equipment. Plan ahead, check forecasts, and prepare for the weather. We can’t refund for road or weather-related issues, so check road conditions. Watch the drive video (search online for “#mountainair37862”) for helpful information. If you’re unfamiliar with mountain driving or have concerns, message us. Our guests love staying here, and we want you comfortable with the adventure. The cabin has parking for 2-3 vehicles. Turnaround space is limited, but full-sized pickups navigate it with patience. The driveway is a mix of dirt and gravel, and we groom it as needed. ⏤ WI-FI, PHONE, & TV SERVICES ⏤ Cellular signals are weak at the cabin. We have DishTV & Starlink Internet. Speeds aren’t guaranteed and may not be suitable for streaming video at times. Weather can affect operation and performance. — BOOKING INFO — Once reserved here, we will send a confirmation message with a link to our secure website and instructions to finalize your booking within 24 hours, or the reservation may be canceled. The Renter of record must: ・meet the minimum age; ・provide credit card for the security deposit; ・be present during entire stay; ・upload a valid government-issued ID; ・sign our rental agreement; and, ・provide names & ages of the entire party. When completed, we will provide check-in information 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival by message and in our digital guidebook. Pricing is updated frequently. Rates are not final until the property is fully reserved. We are unable to accommodate luggage drop-off, early arrivals, or late checkouts. Our properties have approved noise monitors that measure audio levels, without recording audio. If levels exceed local regulations, you will be notified about it. Very clean, cozy and comfortable! Spent Thanksgiving there and was very peaceful. Check in easy, owners very responsive. The only issue is....you need to make sure you go up to the cabin during daylight hours. The road is not great, very narrow and has been beat up. We arrived after dark and was a little sketchy to get to the cabin, but once there was very nice. After the first night, we made sure we were back in before dark. Grateful for the stocked kitchen as we had gotten groceries and cooked in the other option was to get takeout to reheat before you head back up the hill before dark :). Make sure you have a good vehicle - 4x4 would be best. We had a minivan and did the job. We had all of the information we needed and had a great stay. Séjour de 4 nuits en novembre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Eileen V. 12 nov. 2025 Points forts : Propreté We've been coming to Pigeon Forge for almoat 15 years, and this was the most secluded and private cabin we've stayed in, and we were so happy with that feature. A 4WD vehicle is a must for this one, and our Durago was a champ. You wont have "scenic" views here, but you will have peace and quiet and no neighbors. The property was spotless, inside and out. We saw no spiderwebs/cobwebs, there was no musty smell. Fireplaces, hot tub, Internet and all appliances worked well. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants at the main road. This was just beautiful in November, but glad we got out before the snow. This will be a stunning property in spring with the wild rhodedendrum on the mountainside. Take a screenshot of the door lock code before arriving. Be mindful of all wildlife and livestock. Master bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking in instead of eating out alot. Bring your groceries and enjoy the privacy. The road is intimidating the first couple times you try it, but watch the video and drive slow and its no problem. Had a big black bear wander around the firepit our first day there. Quiet, secluded, remote location with spectacular views.The cabin itself was way better than the online listing photos and exceeded our EVERY expectation.Very clean with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Soft comfortable bed with plenty of warm bedding for those chilly nights. And despite the remote location WiFi was strong and reliable. And the Hot tub...what a way to end each day of hiking and exploring. .And the hosts...second to none. They put together a personalized electronic booklet that covered just about everything....from before we left home, arrival /checking in, and departing. It covered the cabin itself, safety info, local activities, food and drink, and some great drives in and around the Smoky Mountains. I referred to the booklet several times to help plan our day. I cannot say enough about the time and effort they put into making that. It was indispensable to making our trip as enjoyable as we had hoped. There were absolutely no "surprises" and when I had any questions I received an answer within minutes...almost like they were sitting by the computer waiting. They raised the bar in customer service.
