WiFi is important to many. My wife makes her living on the internet so a cabin with great signal is important. Many cabins in the Smokies have to use satellite wifi. Ours is true high speed cable internet. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with all stays of 4 days or longer I also include, FOR FREE, access (for up to 6 people) to the Pigeon Forge Recreation Center which is just 5 miles away and features an indoor and outdoor pool along with a gym and a library. With so many 5 star reviews the theme is the same - Quality of the cabin and ability to reach the owner! My wife and I are always looking for new ways to make this cabin amazing. We decorate for all of the holidays. The other thing so important is I try and stay 100% available. I answer almost every inquiry not only within the hour but within minutes. My phone is direct linked to my profile. Even when out of the country I make sure I pay to stay connected. Do not get stuck with an out of touch owner. Things happen. They have happened with this cabin. This is not in a busy cabin area full of packed on top of each other rentals where you cannot even find a place to park your vehicle besides on the road. Those places are horrible! My cabin is on almost 2 acres. Even though its not a usable 2 acres it provides the PERFECT buffer! You will have all the privacy you are looking for. Even in the winter. Unique Benefits: One of the things I never liked about going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge is how long it takes to get anywhere! At Best of Both Worlds it is less than a 5 minute drive to Food City and many restaurants including the local favorite steak house! You can be to downtown Gatlinburg in under 10 minutes and you are less than 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge including amazing locations like the Islands! CLOSE TO OBER GATLINBURG! \*\*\*\*\*A REAL PET FRIENDLY RENTAL!\*\*\*\*\*\* NEW ON SITE PET CHALET!! OK, Chalet is a stretch but lets face it.....we really treat our pets better then we treat ourselves right! Well, we are one of the few cabins that accept pets (on a per case basis) but we have found that our doggie guests have been some of the most wonderful guests we have had. As the owner of a Bull Mastiff my wife and I find it nearly impossible to find a place to board him for under $50.00 a day and then we have to pay extra to have him walked, tucked in, read a story, get a bath and all the other things they get us for! Usually it costs more to board our pets then it does to stay! We only have a couple of rules about pets - We require guests bringing pets to kennel their pet while out of the home for the safety of the pet and the home and instead of just putting them in the laundry room we have done what I think may be one of the only ones in our area...ESPECIALLY at our price range....we have dedicated a full room (about 6x7 room) as a private comfortable space for your pet while you’re out enjoying the town. You are welcome to keep your puppy in another area but must use your own crate and must be crated while not in the home. Now you can go out and enjoy your day and not worry about what you’re coming back to. Please note you must indicate pets on checkout. Charge is $95 per pet up to a maximum of 3 dogs. If you have more than that please reach out to me so we can chat. FOR OUR NON PET OWNERS: We take extra measures in making sure that all pets that come to our property are up to date in their shots and have had all their flee/tick treatments. We take extra care in cleaning the property to remove any pet odors or dander. Our cleaning crew goes the extra mile. And more importantly...we ONLY allow responsible pet owners and have been extremely happy with their level of care and respect for our property. If you do have an extreme allergy to pets we may not be the best cabin for you. But I can tell you, my sister has pet allergies and does not have trouble at this home. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*FREE ARIAL TRAMWAY TICKETS FOR ENTIRE WINTER SEASON\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* For all stays over 4 days we provide up to 6 free tram tickets during January 1st-February 28th. As a long time visiter to Ober Gatlinburg to snowboard I believe the easiest (not quickest) way to get there is the tramway. This makes it so you can park right in the middle of town and take the 3 mile tram right to the welcome center of Ober. The tram drops you right off inside the building. Why take the chances on those steep switchback roads? Especially if its snowing! \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Suitability: Children: We purchased this cabin because of our 2.5 year old! He loves it! There are stairs in this property. The stairs lead both upstairs and downstairs. This property features a bedroom on the main level so if you are traveling with guests that cannot use stairs, this is perfect for them. Only stairs would be the couple walking up to main entrance. I hope I have explained our cabin well to you and have encouraged you to either "BOOK NOW" or send a message for more information. Don't worry, unless it is the middle of the night you will hear back quickly so do not book somewhere else without at least reaching out. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and accommodated us extremely well. I love the fact that it is pet friendly and accommodating to them as well with a special pet room. Plus, the cabin was conveniently located to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge...making travel to special attractions so easy! It was the best of all worlds! ##### Ann C. Adequate lodging for 5 adults. Laundry on site is nice. Showers are good.Cons: No ice maker, can opener, colander, pizza cutter or pizza pans. The blender didn't work so we had to go out and buy one. Only 7 forks in the kitchen and one is a baby fork/oyster fork. Downstairs mini fridge doesn't cool. The whole reason we rent vacation houses instead of hotels is so we can cook our meals. The kitchen is lacking many of the basics. The listing says it has an ice maker, but it doesn't, and we had to go buy ice throughout the week.The pool/gym passes are not as advertised - you have to pay at the community center then ask for reimbursement from the owner. The upstairs bedroom is cooled with a portable a/c unit which made it very hard to regulate the temperature. This was not mentioned in the listing.The projector doesn't work properly. It projects but there are large dark spots on the screen. Seems the bulb needs to be replaced. The instructions to use it refer to a website that is for sale. We loved it!!The family dinner table was breathtaking. Twelve family members could sit at this table, which was made of all one piece. Incredible!Even better, there was enough dinnerware for everyone. The entire cabin was beautifully appointed. There were many unusual pieces of arts and crafts that anyone could love. I just stood and looked at things. So lovely. The trees surrounded the rental so that each window was adorned with leaves. I felt like I was in a treehouse!!!The kids LOVED the foosball table and the downstairs game room. There were enough televisions for an army so that there was no arguing over the channels. The porch had a table and chairs which was perfect for my morning cup of tea because I could listen to the birds serenade me as I awakened each day. Morning air is the best. The location was perfect. Being right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was a plus. You get the best of both cities. The host, Michael, was extremely responsive. I had a little trouble getting into the front door when I arrived and I texted him. Even though he was out of the country, he called me right away with a fix!I felt like we hit the jackpot. I would get rid of yellow light bulbs. Porch light flickered the whole time. Definitely needs a good outdoor cleaning and steps replaced. Furniture and railing on deck with hot tub needs replaced. I would get rid of old furniture and decor. Could be more functional with master bedroom having a king bed. Upstairs bathroom flooring coming up. Additional living room furniture would be nice. Oven door was broken and basement refrigerator didn’t get cold. Loose the game on porch and add more rockers. Absolutely loved the dining room table. Upstairs bedroom was great. Pool table and tv in basement perfect. Didn’t use doggy room. Kitchen was great size. Location to town was great. Love the playground set. Overall nice place just could use some TLC ##### lana m. We saw black bear everyday and they were way to comfortable with people. Make sure you lock your car and keep food inside. The cabin had plenty of room and spaces for all to spread out and not be on top of each other all the time. The weather was very very hot so we did not get out and explore as much as we would have liked but when we did, we were close to anyplace we wanted to go. Our kids will never forget the bears that strolled to the cabin. We even had a mother bear decide to lay in the driveway right off the front porch and feed/nurse her three cubs there in the shade. A fantastic memory for sure but please stay bear aware and follow all the rules that apply! ##### Craig P. It is located not far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for things to do. It is also located in a quiet neighborhood to enjoy the nature around you as well. My family and I stayed here over spring break. Absolutely beautiful! It was a lot bigger than what we expected. Plenty of room. Lots of things to do for the kids. They enjoyed the playground, hot tub , and pool table. Very quiet area. However super close to everything we wanted to do. I was bummed because I really wanted to see a bear on our vacation. I kept just missing them. HOWEVER on our last night there while my husband was grilling the kids were in the hot tub squealing with excitement! lol. Down below in the woods was a bear following the smell of burgers. We finally got our bear. That just made our stay even better! ##### Jen B.
