Take Wears Valley road all the way to Pigeon Forge and you will be there in 20 minutes. There are two parking structures on the property. One on the main driveway and one on the grass driveway. The host checked in with us to make sure everything met our expectations, which they did!! Most cabins only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels but this cabin provided enough for the entire stay and they also had a variety of snacks available and had toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream and all the other personal hygiene items. Tyler was great to work with for our trip. Excellent communication. The cabin was clean upon our arrival. The little extras were a pleasant surprise if you forget any toiletries. There was a snack basket too. The best part of the cabin was the fenced in yard for our small dogs. We didn’t have to worry about keeping them on a leash and they were able to run which was so important to us for our trip. Fenced back yard with fire pit and grass not dirt! No fleas or a single insect bite while at the house! Have you ever found one that had a carport this one does no getting wet. However, the lawn was about a foot high and hard to see their business. The covered deck was nice, but there was much-needed bird dropping cleaning needed. These were small issues as our stay was quiet, peaceful, aling with a beautiful sunrise over the mountain. There are several good restaurants just minutes away. Further, we visited Look Rock trail and tower with the best views yet. If you have pets, this place is recommended. We are considering coming back to this cabin. Thanks Tyler! God Bless! The location in Wears Valley was beautiful—peaceful and away from the crowds but still convenient to attractions. We especially loved the nearby restaurant Elvira’s and the charming town of Townsend (highly recommend Peaceful Side Social restaurant as well). We really appreciated the thoughtful snack basket and toiletries the host provided! The carport was also great to have, especially for keeping the car covered from the weather. Another big plus was that the cabin was easy to get to—no need for 4WD, which isn’t always the case in this area.That said, there were a few things we wish we had known beforehand. While we were aware the cabin had three floors and stairs to all bedrooms, we didn’t realize there were no interior doors—including for the downstairs bathroom, which only had a shower curtain for privacy. The furnace makes noise throughout the night, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. The porch had a lot of carpenter bees and bird poop and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. We also had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival, but Tyler was very responsive and addressed concerns immediately.With that said, the beautiful location and scenery still make this a great getaway! ##### Katie W. The covered carport was great as it was raining hard the day we arrived and didnt get wet unloading. The rain hitting the tin roof was therapuetic and again could sit outside in the rocking chairs and enjoy nature's showers. No neighbors within close proximity allowed for a private and quiet outdoors. Inside was very cozy and well laid out on the main floor, the downstairs bedroom was huge and the loft would have been great if we brought more youngsters. The only thing we would improve on is the comfort of the matress ( wasn't uncomfortable but we are spoiled at home) and a few more updated skillets and pots. Again the whole cabin was so nice you don't even have to leave the property but cooking a great meal to match was not as easy as enjoying the rest the cabin has to offer.
