Our location is also conveniently located about 20 minutes from all the fun in Pigeon Forge and 30 minutes from Gatlinburg! Getting Around: Getting around in this area is super convenient and easy! Take Wears Valley road all the way to Pigeon Forge and you will be there in 20 minutes. There are two parking structures on the property. One on the main driveway and one on the grass driveway. Other Things to Note: We charge a $150 fee per pet per stay. Things to be aware of: One of the windows in the main living room has a small crack. This is a 2 pane window and it does not affect the air flow or weathering. The location in Wears Valley was beautiful—peaceful and away from the crowds but still convenient to attractions. We especially loved the nearby restaurant Elvira’s and the charming town of Townsend (highly recommend Peaceful Side Social restaurant as well). We really appreciated the thoughtful snack basket and toiletries the host provided! The carport was also great to have, especially for keeping the car covered from the weather. Another big plus was that the cabin was easy to get to—no need for 4WD, which isn’t always the case in this area.That said, there were a few things we wish we had known beforehand. While we were aware the cabin had three floors and stairs to all bedrooms, we didn’t realize there were no interior doors—including for the downstairs bathroom, which only had a shower curtain for privacy. The furnace makes noise throughout the night, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. The porch had a lot of carpenter bees and bird poop and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. We also had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival, but Tyler was very responsive and addressed concerns immediately.With that said, the beautiful location and scenery still make this a great getaway! ##### Katie W. Tyler was great to work with for our trip. Excellent communication. The cabin was clean upon our arrival. The little extras were a pleasant surprise if you forget any toiletries. There was a snack basket too. The best part of the cabin was the fenced in yard for our small dogs. We didn’t have to worry about keeping them on a leash and they were able to run which was so important to us for our trip. Kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. Fireplace was really nice! The deck was great for relaxing and enjoying the view and the fresh mountain air! The host checked in with us to make sure everything met our expectations, which they did!! Most cabins only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels but this cabin provided enough for the entire stay and they also had a variety of snacks available and had toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream and all the other personal hygiene items. They even had throw blankets and extra pillows, sheets and towels to use. Definitely would stay here again!! ##### Latisha M. The home was cleaned and nice and all the accessories that we needed. The little town of wears valley we need people were extremely nice. Fenced back yard with fire pit and grass not dirt! No fleas or a single insect bite while at the house! Have you ever found one that had a carport this one does no getting wet. A gas grill with a full tank to use. Hot tub. We found a gem and we will be back. Amazing host. ##### William M.
