It is spacious and has a true mountain feel when you walk in. It is well stocked with everything you need. The location is fabulous! If you don’t like driving up a steep mountain road, then this cabin is definitely for you. Golden Oaks is easy to access, something that was important to me. Also, I loved the large outdoor area. Enjoyed fishing in the pond that was within walking distance. The outdoor space was perfect, and the yard was huge (enjoyed the privacy of the property). We celebrated my son's birthday while there. The screened-in porch was amazing, and our dog loved to watch the geese and squirrels! We all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit on the cool spring nights. The back yard is awesome too. You can’t beat the location as it’s a perfect distance between Pigeon Forge and the quieter Townsend. Just minutes from the National Park and Metcalf Bottoms picnic area.
