Far away from everything. This was a very cute cabin and great for a romantic getaway if you really want to be secluded. Very very private and lots of winding backroads to get there. Driveway is long and steep and winding. Very glad we had a Jeep with lots of off road lights. A couple of negatives…the couch was not comfy at all! And there was absolutely NOTHING to cook with. No spices, no oil, no sugar, no staples of any sort. Maybe it’s asking a lot, but when you’re only staying a few days, it’s a lot to have to purchase every single thing to prepare a meal or two and then either tote it all home or trash it. Also….the hot tub was filthy and smelled like a pond. They DID send someone to work on it….over halfway into our stay and that night when we finally could get in it, it wasn’t hot and half the jets didn’t work. Paid extra for a place with a hot tub and very disappointed in this element of our stay, especially when this is the catch line in the listing. All in all if you want to buy a bunch of groceries and stay in for a week, it’s a great place to go. But if you’re trying to go out a few times a day to enjoy the restaurants and entertainment of the city, I’d stay somewhere closer to town. Also….it’s very buggy outside and the air was very still. Take lots of bug spray if you’re planning to be outside at all! ##### Jennifer S.
