We had to drive an hour the opposite direction to get a piece of paper with the door code vs this being emailed causing 2 extra hours of driving. I received 10 calls/text from the property aunt bugs which was overboard. I would come back to the area but wouldn’t want to deal with the aunt bugs team. The cabin had spider webs all over the inside which I stay in the mountains frequently and the cleaning team just didn’t do a good job. The cabin is tucked away on 5 acres and is quiet and well shaded. Also there is a river access to swim a short drive around the corner. Townsend is close by and your inside the national park with tons to see. The company to check-in/out was very helpful and easy to work with. We enjoyed the cool breeze every afternoon while we grilled. Loved hearing the creek across the road. Perfect location to attractions and hiking! Great WiFi. Our highlight everyday was all the bear visits! We had a wonderful time exploring Smoky Mountains, ( you’re at least an 1/2 hour from every thing) Unfortunately the house needs a lot of attention. There were issues with cobwebs, spiders and cleanness, even mice dropping. ( drawer in oven and bathroom)Management was quick to respond. They didn’t supply you with an enough bedding or towels, blankets were stuffed in drawer and not very clean looking, and no cleaning supplies!! It was a shame the issue in this cabin, because it really was a great looking cabin! I would not return. ##### Christine B. Showers were dirty and small. It was a little difficult because of size with handicap child. Things from last guest were eft behind under furniture, like glow sticks and caps of bottles in bathroom. The cleaners clearly did not check all areas. Bedding was clean that was a huge plus. Needed more towels for larger groups so laundry doesn't have to be done while vacationing. Lastly the dust was horrible cobwebs above showers, tv stand clearly not dusted in living room nor mantle.I would definitely rent again though due to the accessibility for my daughter and the area being so quiet. The home was lovely. The cabin was spacious and had everything that we needed. My favorite thing was quiet mornings on the porch, listening to the creek and hearing the birds chirp. It was relaxing sitting on the porch and listening to the stream. The living room had comfy couches for hanging out together in the evening after hiking during the day. We cooked every night in the kitchen. There was an item missing in the kitchen, but they were quick to supply what we needed. The hot tub and jet bath were nice features.
