The home appeared as if guests had just checked out upon our arrival. The house was in disarray, broken window, door had been kicked in, and alcohol and beer bottles were scattered through the house. I contacted the owner and he was aware the housekeeper had an emergency and did not clean prior to our arrival; however, we were unaware! He offered to have a housekeeper come the following morning; however, My family and I chose not to stay and cancelled our reservations. The owner was pleasant so I have chosen to not add photos on the website. They aren't family-friendly. ##### Tammie C. This property is in need of deep cleaning, refreshing and repairs. Walking around in our white socks and barefeet revealed a very unclean floor. Eating utensils and pots/pans need to be replaced. (Only 6 forks) Game Room was a disappointment to my grandchildren due to issues with foosball table, air hockey table and missing pool balls. Side walk to front door overgrown. Contained some sort of sticky weed that stuck to our clothing as we walked to and from the front door. Curtain at hot tub was in shreds. Beds were comfortable. Layout of property worked well. Large game & media room, both the front porch and the upper deck were spacious. Everything was clean and they provided plenty of kitchen cookware & dishes. I wish there were more room for a larger table, but the island was huge. The grill worked well. We managed to park 5 cars in the driveway. The host answered quickly to my messages. The area where it is located felt more like a rural neighborhood than a mountain retreat but was close to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge (20-30 minutes). The kids loved the game room and sofa beds in the media room. They just pushed them all together and made a bed that was like two kings in size. I would stay again. ##### Tammy W. Séjour de 3 nuits en juin 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Melody W. 2 janv. 2025 #### Good location but some issues This place was more suited for young adults looking for a party not suited for a large family. The shower was hot but the pressure was about comparable to a slow trickle. There was not enough kitchen supplies such as no oven mitts or ice in the refrigerator. The sinks in the bathroom didn’t have hot water or working outlets. There was garbage scattered in the yard beneath the trees. There was no heat downstairs. The positives was the location was very quiet and the food world being a short drive. ##### Melody W. Séjour de 3 nuits en décembre 2024 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Tara G. 8 nov. 2024 Points faibles : Propreté #### Not what we expected \*BUGS\* This vrbo was not what we expected. \*BUGS everywhere\* We originally booked this home in advance as my two young kids were off from school. We were hit with hurricane Milton and flights were cancelled and obviously we had other things to worry about. Our home town was struck directly. I reached out to the owner of this home and apologized, but we werent going to make it due to national weather emergency. Yes we had trip protection. The owner of this property not only gave me a hard time, he had no sympathy. I requested to change dates, which he finally did. Fast forward, we get to the house- the furnishings are horrible. Futons for couches. For a vacation rental, things should be comfortable for your guests. Bugs everywhere. In the curtains. Sinks. Shower. The ceiling paint was falling down. It just felt gross! We told the owner we weren’t staying another night and would be leaving that following day to a different vrbo. We then asked for a refund for the rest of our stay. Of course he wouldn’t do this! DO NOT STAY HERE. It is disgusting, and should not be listed for a vacation rental. ##### Tara G. The house was welcoming and clean! The kids really enjoyed the movie room. Close enough to many attractions in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I highly recommend, we had a family of 8 and there was plenty of room! ##### Kristina F. There were plenty of activities to do inside, and the drive to PF was not bad! This trip was to propose, and after she said yes, the cabin was a great celebration spot!
